A liquid-guiding path is disposed on the bottom surface of the liquid tank. The liquid-guiding path extends from the communication part to a point a predetermined distance away from the liquid outlet.

摘要： A liquid discharge head cartridge can assuredly supply a liquid discharge head with a liquid even when a bubble is generated within a liquid channel, and maintain excellent recording characteristics even in a configuration in which light recovery or no recovery is adopted. The cartridge includes a slit-shaped opening provided at an ink channel facing an ink-jet recording head, a filter provided at an ink introducing unit so as to contact an ink absorber, and ribs for supporting the filter that extend from an inner wall of the ink introducing unit to a substantially central portion of the filter.

摘要： An ink jet cartridge including a case, in which the bottom portion where an ink jet recording head is disposed projects, and a lid for covering the top surface thereof. In an ink containing chamber defined by the these case and the lid, there is provided an absorber. The lid is configured so that ribs provided directly over the projecting bottom are higher than the other ribs, and so that the lid can be used for different types of cartridge. In a black cartridge, the pertinent ribs perform the function of effectively bringing the absorber into pressure contact with an ink introducing section. In a color cartridge, the pertinent ribs perform the function of restraining the height of the top surface of the absorber disposed on the projecting bottom portion to a position lower than that of the top surface of each of the other absorbers.

The ink print head includes an ink container for holding ink, a recording element for discharging the ink supplied from the ink container, a duct disposed between the ink container and the recording element to transfer the ink to the recording element, and an inductive channel which communicates with the duct. The inductive channel transfers the ink to the recording element from the ink container, and has a capillary force greater than that of the duct.
