摘要： A controlling device that determines the diaphragm aperture of the camera in accordance with an output of a light measuring circuit, which detects a light from an object to be photographed being illuminated by a light which includes an alternatingly changing component and has its intensity maintained constant in effect for a given time period. The device is equipped with a smoothing circuit for smoothing the ripple component in the photoelectric output. The smoothing circuit is set to have a charge time constant smaller than the discharge time constant and generates an output equivalent to the peak value of the ripple component. The light that illuminates the photographic object can be generated from the electronic flash and the photoelectric detector may be arranged within the body of a camera to receive the light from the photographic object that passes through the diaphragm aperture of the camera.

摘要： A flash photography system for a camera which is adapted to be used with an electronic flash device which supplies a control signal when the device is a ready condition. The camera includes a diaphragm control circuit which automatically control the diaphragm aperture in accordance with a measurement of the light from the scene to be photographed. The diaphragm control circuit includes a circuit for producing a first program signal for controlling the diaphragm aperture and camera exposure time in a first programmed relationship with the light measurement for daylight or natural light photography, and a circuit for produces a second program signal for controlling the diaphragm aperture in a second programmed relationship with the light measurement for flash photography. The second program signal is adapted to provide a proper exposure for the ambient light condition as well as the flash light illumination.

摘要： A flash photographing system includes a camera body, a flash controller connected to the camera body and three flash devices: the first flash device is directly mounted on the camera body; the second flash device is mounted on the flash controller; and the third flash device is connected through a suitable cord to the flash controller. A microcomputer is provided in the camera body and also in each of the flash devices so as to control the three flash devices in various different modes of operations, such as simultaneous flash mode, sequence flash mode, and yet providing an appropriate amount of light for the proper exposure.

摘要： A flash photography system with a camera body and an electronic flash device incorporates first to third terminals in the camera body which are connectable to fourth through sixth terminals in the flash device. A signal is produced to distinguish between first and second modes wherein data is transmitted to the electronic flash device and data from the electronic flash device is transmitted to the camera body, respectively, and connected to the first terminal. Clock pulses control the data transmission and data is read from the electronic flash device and transmitted to the electronic flash device through the second terminal in response to the clock pulses. An initiating signal to cause production of artificial illuminating light from the electronic flash device is provided at the third terminal. In response to the distinguishing signal, selection is made between the first and second modes via the fourth terminal. The electronic flash device provides via the fifth terminal serial data to the camera body in response to the clock pulses through the fourth terminal. Data is read to the electronic flash device through the fifth terminal in response to pulses from the fourth terminal. The electronic flash device provides artificial illuminating light in response to the initiating signal through the sixth terminal.

摘要： An automatic exposure control camera is of a type capable of controlling both the camera exposure and the flash light amount to be emitted by an electronic flash device. The automatic exposure control camera includes an average light measuring device for measuring an amount of the entire light impinging on an image forming plane and for producing an average signal representing the average light amount, and a spot light measuring device for measuring an amount of light impinging on a spot of the image forming plane and for producing a spot signal representing the light amount at the spot. When taking a photograph with the aid of flash light from a flash device, the amount of light impinging on the film surface is measured and integrated in real time using the average signal, and when the integrated amount reaches a predetermined level, the flash device is controlled so as to stop the emission of flash light, thereby photographing the object with an appropriate light amount even when the object is located at a corner of the frame.

摘要： A camera is adapted to operate with stored data by sensing the film speed data prepared on the surface of a film cartridge loaded in the camera to produce a data reading signal and reading the sensed film speed data in response to the data reading signal and detecting whether or not the the film loaded in the camera includes film speed data to provide a warning when a determination is made that the film speed data is not on the film cartridge. Film speed data may be loaded in the camera manually and the warning is interrupted in response to the manual setting of the film speed. At least one of the film speed data and the manually set film speed data is stored and the exposure data is calculated on the basis of the stored film speed data.
