摘要： A disposable absorbent article, such as a diaper. The disposable absorbent article has a first region juxtaposed with the front of the wearer and a second region juxtaposed with the back of the wearer. The disposable absorbent article includes a liquid pervious topsheet, a liquid impervious backsheet joined to the topsheet, and an absorbent core positioned between the topsheet and the backsheet. Since the first region is juxtaposed with the front of the wearer it should be superior in the handling of urine while the second region which is juxtaposed with the back of the wearer should be superior in the handling of low-viscosity fecal material. The first region has a PACORM value of less than 120 mg and the second region has a trans-topsheet capacity of at least 0.2 grams per square inch.

摘要： The present invention provides an absorbent article which combines a hydrophobic topsheet with a good liquid acquisition performance. The absorbent article of the present invention comprises a topsheet, a backsheet, a liquid storage structure intermediate the topsheet and the backsheet, and a liquid handling structure intermediate the topsheet and the liquid storage structure. The topsheet of the present invention has a liquid retention of less than 150 mg for a test liquid having a surface tension of 33 mN/m. The liquid handling structure of the present invention has a basis weight to uncompressed caliper ratio of less than 100 grams per square meter per millimeter. The topsheet of the present invention may comprise a fiber coating such as fluoropolymers in order to lower the contact angle of the topsheet.

摘要： A method of producing absorbent articles, comprising: suspending particles in a gas carrier to form suspended particles; creating a series of pulses from the suspended particles, wherein each pulse in the series of pulses is created by: accumulating at least some of the suspended particles in a pulsing chamber to form accumulated particles on a rotary separator, and releasing at least some of the accumulated particles by rotating the rotary separator to create each pulse; and suctioning each pulse from the series of pulses onto a forming surface for the absorbent articles.
