    摘要: A method and an apparatus for stuffer box crimping a multifilament yarn consisting of one or more fiber bundles, wherein a conveying fluid is introduced into a yarn channel via a plurality of fluid feed channels, with each channel carrying a partial flow. The yarn is pneumatically taken into the yarn channel, and guided, and possibly twisted in the yarn channel by the conveying fluid, and subsequently advanced into a stuffer box chamber. Inside the stuffer box chamber, the yarn is formed into a plug which is compressed and advanced, with the conveying fluid emerging from the stuffer box chamber through side openings. To influence the actions of the conveying fluid on the yarn within the yarn channel, at least one of the fluid feed channels is configured such that the partial flows of the conveying fluid are introduced from the fluid feed channels into the yarn channel under the action of different overpressures.

    摘要: The invention relates to an apparatus for treating a multifilament thread in a melt-spinning process, wherein a treatment channel is formed between a housing plate and an impact plate. The housing plate has a nozzle bore which opens into the treatment channel and is connected to a compressed-air connection. Together with the housing plate, the impact plate forms an inlet opening and an outlet opening at both ends of the treatment channel. In order to check the swirling effects which are produced on the thread by the eddying within the treatment channel, according to the invention the impact plate has a thread guiding element in the part piece of the treatment channel between the nozzle bore and the inlet opening, which thread guiding element is configured so as to protrude into the treatment channel in order to deflect the thread.

    摘要: The invention relates to a device for the compression crimping of a synthetic multifilament yarn, said device comprising a transport nozzle and a compression chamber. Said transport nozzle comprises a yarn channel by which means a yarn is guided to a compression chamber. Said compression chamber forms a section having a gas-permeable chamber wall, between a yarn inlet and an enmeshment outlet. According to the invention, the gas-permeable chamber wall comprises a friction surface consisting of material which is resistant to wear, on the inner side facing the yarn enmeshment. The constancy of the braking action produced by the friction on the yarn enmeshment can thus be significantly improved.

The thread plug is cast on the circumference of rotating processing drum for thermal treatment and is wrapped around the circumference of the processing drum with many side-by-side wraparounds. Following that, the thread plug is unravelled in an unravelling area on the circumference of the processing drum into the crimped thread which is pulled of the processing drum. To obtain a continuous and regular unravelling of the thread plug with multiple wraparounds and mutual touching of the wraparounds of the thread plug, the thread is guided at a slant from the unravelling area of the thread plug such that a growing axial space appears between the thread and the thread plug, on the circumference of the processing drum, during increasing wraparounds of the thread on the circumference of the processing drum.

    摘要: The exemplary embodiment illustrated in FIGS. 1 to 3 of the device according to the invention is by way of example with respect to the structure and arrangement of the individual assemblies. In principle, it is also possible for the godet assigned to the texturing unit 3 to guide the threads only with a single partial looping. The invention is thus particularly suitable for producing a uniform crimp on each tread in a thread group of a plurality of threads. The number of threads within the thread group is shown by way of example with three threads. The tread group can contain two or more threads. The invention is particularly advantageous in the use of what are known as twist texturing nozzles, in which a twist is produced on the incoming thread. By avoiding friction points and deflections, and identical effect of the twist can be obtained on each of the supplied threads. In addition, very compact arrangements can be realized, since the texturing nozzles can be arranged at a relatively short distance downstream of the godet. Minimum distances for maintaining maximum angles of deflection are not necessary. Thus, even relatively large differences between guiding distance and the treatment distance can be realized at a short distance between the godet and the texturing unit.

    摘要: A method and an apparatus for spinning and crimping a synthetic multifilament yarn, wherein a filament bundle is spun from a polymer melt and compressed to a yarn plug. The yarn plug is advanced at a cooling speed and cooled within a cooling zone in a moving cooling groove. After cooling, the yarn plug is disentangled to form a crimped yarn, with the latter being wound to a package. To obtain an adequate cooling of the yarn plug and, with that, a stable and highest possible crimp in the yarn, the method of the invention provides for selecting the length of the cooling zone and the cooling speed of the yarn plug such that the yarn plug is cooled in the cooling groove over a period of at least 1 second. To this end, the apparatus of the invention includes a cooling groove, whose width is dimensioned such that the yarn plug can be advanced in meander form in a plurality of superposed layers.

As a result, the suction stream of the conveying fluid is generated by a compressed air stream, with the compressed air stream and the suction stream being jointly discharged as a common airflow.
