Abstract:
An improved solid pharmaceutical composition comprising a lyophilized liposomal KL4 pulmonary surfactant composition comprising:(a) about 1 to about 10 percent weight KL4 polypeptide; and(b) 50 to about 100 weight percent phospholipid comprised of about 3 parts DPPC to about 1 part POPG.A facile process for the production of the lyophilized solid composition is also provided.
Abstract:
Shelf stable formulations of 2-CdA in water are disclosed which contain benzyl alcohol, m-cresol, a buffer and sodium chloride or a solubilizing agent such as propylene glycol or polyethylene glycol.
Abstract:
A system and method for a comic book certification is disclosed. A comic book packaging system is disclosed providing with in inner seal enclose in a rectangular outer shell. End caps are provided on the outer shell. The end caps are applied on the outer shell on any of 4 sides. A label is provided under at least one of the clips. The inner well is made of polyester plastic, specifically PETG, polycarbonate, acrylic, uPVC.
Abstract:
A lyophilized imaging agent formulation and methods for making same are disclosed, such formulations comprise a targeting molecule such as antibody or chemotactic peptide, a linker such as diethylenetriaminepentaacetic acid (DTPA) or succinimidyl 6-hydrazinium nicotinate hydrochloride (SHNH), drying protectant such as mannitol, maltose or tricine, and excipient such as polysorbate 80, in citrate buffer. The formulations of the invention are lyophilized and may be stored stably for extended periods of time. Following reconstitution with diluent, the formulations are administered to a subject for scintigraphic imaging or therapeutic use. Also contemplated is a kit comprising a two-vial system wherein a first vial comprises a lyophilized formulation of imaging agent in the form of a lyophilized cake, and a second vial comprises a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier or diluent.
Abstract:
A system and method for grading a document are disclosed, the method including but not limited to generating on a comic grading processor, a grade for a first comic book using grading notes for the first comic book from a first comic book grader; generating a quick scan code for the grading notes; accepting at the comic grading processor, a Quick Scan code from a mobile device; and sending from the comic book grading processor to the mobile device a grading report comprising the grade and grading notes indicated by the quick response code. A system is disclosed for practicing the method.
Abstract:
The movable jaw on a gripper mechanism is engaged by a bowed spring feeler element to effect a change in its lateral deflection thereof at a maximum magnification ratio to displacement of the movable jaw from an operative position gripping a single sheet of paper. Deformation of the feeler element is regulated by a bearing abutment spaced from a contact sensing assembly through which the intermediate portion of the element extends to monitor the paper gripping operation.
Abstract:
Sterile, essentially crystalline cefazolin sodium for parenteral administration is prepared by a freeze-drying process wherein a C.sub.1 -C.sub.3 alcohol-water solution of cefazolin sodium containing about 10 percent by volume of the C.sub.1 -C.sub.3 alcohol is chilled slowly from room temperature to about -10.degree. C. over a 3-12 hour period and then rapidly cooled to -30.degree. to about -40.degree. C. and held for 1-2 hours before subjecting said frozen solution to a high vacuum and a moderate amount of heat to sublime the frozen solvent therefrom. The resulting powder dissolves rapidly in acceptable pharmaceutical diluents.
Abstract:
A pharmaceutical suspension for parenteral administration is provided which comprises finely divided crystals of cefazolin suspended in a vehicle composed of water, a pharmaceutically acceptable surfactant, lecithin and a viscosity adjusting agent or agents. Methods are also provided for preparing such a suspension.
