摘要： The present invention is related to the identification of cancer stem cells using the MMTV-Wnt-1 transgenic mouse model. These cancer stem cells have a gene expression signature that allows them to be distinguished from their non-tumorigenic counterparts. Moreover, the gene expression pattern can also predict survival in a diverse group of solid tumors.
