摘要： Disclosed are an in-line direct cryogenic method and system for cooling heated fluid food products, such as sauces. The method includes injecting cryogen directly into the fluid to be cooled while the flow rate of the fluid to be cooled is adjusted in response to downstream temperature measurements and while maintaining the injection rate of the cryogen into the fluid. According to the method the flow of the sauce is adjusted during the flow of the cryogen to achieve process stability, product uniformity and efficient use of the cryogen.

摘要： A transparent plastic tube packaging container includes an outer tube having an inner tube of smaller diameter mounted therein to form a space or air gap on all sides between the inner tube and the outer tube. A first end plug closes a bottom of the inner tube and is fitted within the outer tube adjacent the bottom thereof and a second plug closes a top of the inner tube and is fitted within the outer tube adjacent the top of the tube. Hubs extending inwardly from the end plugs hold magnets placed in the inner tube in a position spaced from the top and the bottom of the inner tube.

摘要： An apparatus for reducing the temperature of a liquid product in a processing line includes a polymer member having a passageway formed therein for receiving a liquid product in the passageway; an inlet and an outlet each in fluid communication with a corresponding opposed end of the passageway; a plurality of delivery channels formed in the polymer member, each one of the plurality of delivery channels having an opening in fluid communication with a different location of the passageway and constructed to provide a chilling medium into the passageway; and a support member for the polymer member, the support member constructed to mount said polymer member in the processing line. A related method is also provided.
