摘要： A method and apparatus for controlling the volatility experienced by a grantor using a grantor retained annuity trust (GRAT) or the like provides a fund that may sell call spreads to the GRAT and shares in the fund to the grantor. Countervailing value movements in the fund and the value of the call spreads may be adjusted to control volatility and provide more certainty in the calculation of the grant annuity stream.
