    摘要： Enhanced user interface elements in ambient light is described. In embodiment(s), a sensor input can be received from light sensor(s) that detect ambient light proximate an integrated display of a portable device. A determination can be made that the ambient light detracts from the visibility of user interface elements displayed in a user interface on the integrated display, and graphic components of a user interface element can be modified to enhance the visibility of the user interface element for display in the ambient light.
