摘要： A filter system and filters and housing components for use in the filter system are provided. The filter system includes at least one filter received within a housing having a cover and a housing body. The filter includes at least one latch tab engaged by the cover to secure the cover. First and second seals seal the system. The latch tab extends axially beyond a catch of the housing body. A filter system is also provided that includes a pre-cleaner through which fluid moves in a first direction different than a second direction as the fluid flows through the filters thereof. Methods of servicing the filter system are also provided.

摘要： An air filter element fits upon an air cleaner housing with a bar element that is received into the outlet face of the air filter element. The air filter element has a receiver extending into the outlet face to accommodate the bar. In the case of a deep pleated pack for the filter element, a widened split may be provided to accommodate the bar. A protective member that can be provided as part of a basket may project into the outlet face to protect the air filter element pack at the receiver.

摘要： The air filter element may include an inner metal liner, an outer metal liner, a filter media, an annular end cap, and a composite end cap The annular end cap is formed over the metal liners such that the metal liners are secured and at least a portion of the filter media is sealed. The composite end cap has a foamed urethane portion and a rigid urethane portion. The foamed urethane portion, which has a central aperture and stand-off apertures, is molded about the central aperture and the stand-off apertures such that the metal liners are secured, at least a portion of the filter media is sealed, and urethane flashing occurs proximate one or more of the central aperture and an outer liner periphery. The rigid urethane portion is molded over the foamed urethane portion such that the stand-off apertures are filled, blocked, and/or sealed.
