摘要： The invention relates to a method for billing internet transactions via mobile radio telephone service. By using WAP (Wireless Application Protocol), it is possible to select and, optionally, reserve goods and services (information, tickets, CD's, hotel rooms, etc) sold via the internet. When the customer decides to purchase the good or service, he or she conducts a payment transaction from the mobile radio telephone device. According to the invention, the customer data required for conducting a payment transaction is centrally maintained in a database of a payment gateway.

Systematic authentication of the subscriber of the mobile radiotelephone system vis-à-vis the authentication entity via a common interface is made possible by the authentication parameters stored in the memory since the authentication entity can always refer back to the response parameters of the individual subscriber module it already knows.

According to the first method, the area which is to be covered is divided up into zones and a specific code is allocated to each individual zone. 摘要： A cordless communication system includes a mobile terminal of a public mobile communication system and a base station. The base station is connectable to a public fixed network and compatible at an air interface with the mobile communication system which has at least one authentication function. A read and write unit of the base station reads and writes from and to, respectively, at least one identification module. Sections of data of the identification module used in the base station are identical to sections of data stored on a chip card of an access-authorized mobile terminal. The read data from the identification module is processed through software implemented in the base station. The mobile terminal is authenticated with regard to the base station through the processed data, wherein the base station fulfills the same functions and tasks as a home location register and, respectively, an authentication center of the mobile communication system. The mobile terminal is operated through the public fixed network if the authentication has been successful.
