Abstract:
The present invention is provided as a sheet feeding apparatus comprising a friction separating/feeding means for separating and feeding a sheet by making use of frictional force, an air separating/feeding means for separating and feeding a sheet by making use of air and a selecting means for selecting either one of the friction separating/feeding means and the air separating/feeding means and for making the selected means separate and feed the sheet.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a sheet binding apparatus for effecting stapling operation by rotation of a motor including a current measuring device for measuring a current of the motor, a first timing output device for defining the timing of the stapling operation, a second timing output device for effecting the output at a different timing from an output timing of the first timing output device, a calculation device for measuring outputs of the current measuring device in response to signals from the first and second timing output devices to seek the difference between the measured values, a base current measuring device capable of setting a current value in advance on which the judgement of the presence/absence of a needle is based, and a discriminating device for comparing an output value from the calculation device with a set value of the base current value setting device to judge the presence/absence of the needle.
Abstract:
A sheet transport apparatus has a puncher for punching a hole in a sheet as the sheet is being transported through a transport path, and a transport device for clamping and transporting the sheet, the transport device being disposed downstream of the puncher and having a first rotation member and a second rotation member for pressing the sheet into contact with the first rotation member, the transport device being disposed at a position where a hole punched by the puncher passes through.
Abstract:
A sheet post-processing apparatus includes at least one sheet receiving device for stacking sheets; an aligning device for aligning sheets on the sheet receiving device; and a sheet conveyer for conveying a set of aligning sheets in a direction crossing with a sheet receiving direction of the sheet receiving device.
Abstract:
A sheet original feeding apparatus includes a sheet original stacking tray on which sheet originals to be treated are stacked as an original stack; a sheet original separating means for separating and supplying the sheet original one by one from the bottom of the original stack stacked on the sheet original stacking tray; a sheet original feeding path for directing the sheet original separated by the sheet original separating means; a sheet original feeding means for feeding the sheet original directed by the original feeding path to an image reading portion; a sheet original ejecting path for ejecting the sheet original fed by the sheet original feeding means to the sheet original stacking tray; and an auxiliary sheet original feeding apparatus which can be connected to the sheet original ejecting path. When the auxiliary sheet original feeding apparatus is connected, the sheet original ejecting path serves as a bypass for directing the sheet original from the auxiliary sheet original feeding apparatus to the sheet stacking tray.
Abstract:
This specification discloses an automatic sheet supplying device for automatically feeding sheets from a sheet supporting table to a predetermined position. More particularly, the specification discloses an automatic sheet supplying device which is provided with a feeding member movable in a sheet feeding direction and a separating member opposed to the feeding member, whereby when sheets fed one by one by the action of the two members arrive at a predetermined position, the two members are caused to be spaced apart from each other to thereby eliminate any load against the sheets being conveyed.
Abstract:
A sheet sorting apparatus includes a plurality of trays for accommodating sheets; a helical cam device, engageable with a cam follower for moving the plurality of trays; a cam driving device for driving the helical cam device; a sheet set processing device movable between processing position and a retracted position where the processing device doe snot interfere with the plurality of trays; a reversible driving device for advancing or retracting the sheet set processing device; and a controlling device for controlling the driving device; wherein a cam surface of the helical cam is constituted of substantially horizontal portions and slanted portions; and the cam driving device and the driving device are controlled by the controlling device, in such a manner that the sheet set processing device starts to enter a processing position when the cam follower shifts from the slanted portions to the horizontal portions, and the entering operation ends by the time the cam follower reaches the middle portion of the horizontal portion, and that the cam driving device is deactivated when the cam follower is substantially at a middle portion of the horizontal portions, and after sheet set processing, the cam driving device and the driving device are actuated, and the sheet set processing device is retracted from a moving path region of the tray by the time the cam follower passes through the remaining portion of the horizontal portions.
Abstract:
A sheet feeding apparatus has a separation device including a rotational feeding member rotatable in the direction of sheet feeding and a counter-rotational member rotatable in the direction counter to the sheet feeding direction, and an elastic member disposed in resilient contact with the rotational feeding member in a region near a nip formed between the rotational feeding member and the counter-rotational member, so as to perform sheet separation in cooperation with the rotational feeding member. The leading ends of the sheets delivered from a sheet tray by a delivery roller are staggered in the nip between the rotational feeding member and the elastic member, and the staggered sheets are separated one-by-one in the nip between the rotational feeding member and the counter-rotational member.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a reserving type original feeding apparatus comprising a circulating original feeding portion having a first stack tray on which originals are supported, a first separating/supplying means unit for separating and supplying the originals supported in the first stack tray one by one from the bottom, an introduction sheet path for introducing the original supplied by the first separating/supplying unit to a processing portion, and an ejection sheet path for introducing the original processed by the processing portion to the first supply tray from the processing portion; a reserving original feeding portion having a second stack tray on which originals are supported, a second separating/supplying unit for separating and supplying the originals supported in the second stack tray one by one from the bottom, and a second introduction sheet path for introducing the original supplied by the second separating/supplying unit to the processing portion; an original ejector tray arranged substantially above the processing portion; and a second ejection sheet path for introducing the original processed by the processing portion to the original ejector tray from the processing portion. The present invention further provides an image forming system including the above-mentioned original feeding apparatus and further including an image forming portion for forming an image corresponding to an original image and a feeding unit for feeding a sheet material to the image forming portion.
