摘要： An apparatus for determining attitude of a satellite by using a star sensor includes a ground terminal equipped with a data processing unit and star catalogue, a star sensor, an estimating the unit for estimating attitude of the satellite and a decision unit for deciding the attitude determination mode I or II in dependence on attitude stability of the satellite. In the mode I, angles representative of the satellite attitude are estimated by the estimating unit on the basis of a star sub-catalogue prepared by utilizing a priori information. In the mode II, the attitude angles are estimated by the data processing unit through data transaction with the ground terminal without resorting to the use of the priori information.

摘要： There is an attitude control method and system for a satellite. This system comprises a star catalogue of the universe, a star sensor and means for calculating features on the surface of the star sensor from a signal detected by the star sensor. The calculated features are compared with a table of which the star catalogue was reconstituted so as to easily search the features, thereby determining the attitude of the satellite.

摘要： An image recording apparatus is disclosed wherein an image is recorded on a recording medium based on image information by ejecting liquid droplets from a liquid droplet ejecting head. A liquid droplet ejecting head is provided which has an ejection region substantially corresponding to a width of the recording medium. A conveyor unit is provided which conveys the recording medium to the ejection region of the liquid droplet ejecting head with the recording medium attracted and attached thereto and supported thereon. The recording medium is fed from the conveyor unit to a paper discharge section. Further, a plurality of attracting and supporting sub-units are provided which are vertically moved with the recording medium, which is delivered thereto from the conveyor unit, attracted and attached thereto and supported thereon, thereby conveying the recording medium to a subsequent step.

摘要： The present invention provides an ink drying prevention apparatus that can prevent ink within an ink-jet recording head from drying, for a long period of time. The ink drying prevention apparatus prevents ink within an ink-jet recording head from drying, and includes a porous substance permeated with a seal liquid that is nonvolatile and incompatible with the ink within the head, wherein the porous substance can contact a nozzle surface of the ink-jet recording head. The seal liquid forms plural meniscuses in an interface with the nozzle surface and inside the porous substance to block air paths, thereby preventing ink within a nozzle exposed to the nozzle surface from drying.
