Abstract: This specification is directed to stents that are configured to better deploy and remain implanted across a fusiform aneurysm. Specifically, these stents include one or more anchoring members that radially expand within a fusiform aneurysm. In some instances, the anchoring members radially expand to a diameter that is larger than that of regions of vessels adjacent to the fusiform aneurysm to help prevent stent migration. The anchoring members can be a bulbous layer, a plurality of loops, a plurality of arms, a plurality of longitudinal wires, or one or more hydrogel rings.

Abstract: A clot retrieval device is disclosed. In some embodiments, the device utilizes augmented radiopacity to improve imaging, an internal tensioning member, a plurality of connected components useful to engage larger clots, and/or a distal end configuration designed to enhance clot retention.

Abstract: A distal aspiration catheter comprises catheter body having a central lumen and at least one luminal channel. An aspiration source is configured to attach to a proximal end/luer hub of the central lumen. Each luminal channel includes one mandrel and a distal portion of the mandrel extends into a distal portion in the central lumen. When the aspiration source is activated, a clot/emboli lodged in a blood vessel is partially ingested into the distal portion of the central lumen. The distal portion of the mandrel can move into the partially ingested clot to induce clot fatigue. The fatigued clot can be removed completely by a single pass of the distal aspiration catheter.

Abstract: A stent with enhanced deployment characteristics to prevent twisting of the stent during delivery or deployment. The stent may include a first wire segment and a second wire segment that are linked together by at least one connector. The first wire segment may be rotatably connected to a first side of the at least one connector and the second wire segment may be rotatably connected to a second side of the at least one connector. The at least one connector may include an elongated body having at least two passages including a first passage for receiving the first wire segment and a second passage for receiving the second wire segment. The first and/or second wire segments may include enlargements to prevent the wire segments from being pulled out of the passages.
