    Abstract: Techniques for automatically generating targeting templates are provided. In one technique, multiple sets of targeting criteria provided by different content providers are identified. Based on the multiple sets of targeting criteria, multiple clusters of sets of targeting criteria are created. For each cluster, a targeting template is generated based on a set of targeting criteria that belong to that cluster. In another technique, multiple users are identified and for each user, a set of attribute-value pairs of that user is identified and added to a plurality of attribute-value pairs. Based on the plurality of attribute-value pairs, a targeting template that specifies targeting criteria is generated and presented for selection.

    Abstract: Techniques for avoiding race conditions in a content delivery system are provided. Multiple content delivery campaigns that are affected by at least one remapping in a set of remappings are identified. Each remapping in the set of remappings maps an old identifier to a new identifier that is different than the old identifier. For at least some of the plurality of content delivery campaigns, identification data that identifies the content delivery campaign is sent to a particular service. In response to the particular service receiving the identification data, the particular service retrieves targeting data associated with the content delivery campaign. The particular service applies a subset of the set of remappings to the targeting data to generate updated targeting data. The particular service causes the updated targeting data to be stored in association with the content delivery campaign.

    Abstract: Technologies for identifying and recommending dimension values for a content delivery campaign are provided. Disclosed techniques include receiving, from a content provider, input that selects one or more entities. In response to receiving the input, a plurality of dimension values are identified from each of the one or more entities. Dimension values may represent attributes associated with entities. A set of dimension values for recommendation may be identified from the plurality of dimension values previously identified. The set of dimension values for recommendation may be presented to the content provider for the purpose of generating a content delivery campaign based upon the recommended set of dimension values.
