摘要： Techniques to modify a document using a latent transfer surface are described. An apparatus may comprise a document editing subsystem comprising a transfer surface creation module operative to embed a latent transfer surface in the document. A transfer control module may be communicatively coupled to the transfer surface creation module. The transfer control module may be operative to receive a transfer request to transfer media content for the document, and transfer the media content using the latent transfer surface in response to the transfer request. 摘要： In one implementation, a document having one or more content items is presented in a web browser to a user. A user input to select a content item in the displayed document and a transfer request to transfer the selected content item to the system cupboard are received. In response to the received transfer request, the content item is transformed in an editing surface embedded in the document from a source format of the content item into a target format compatible with the system clipboard. The content item transformed into the target format can then be transferred to the system clipboard.
