摘要： A level includes a frame having a top planar surface, a bottom planar surface, and a web coupling the top planar surface to the bottom planar surface. The top planar surface and the bottom planar surface are parallel. The level further includes a vial supported by the frame. The vial has a longitudinal axis passing through a center of the vial and a body defining an interior containing a liquid and an indicator bubble. The level further includes a plurality of LEDs. Each of the LEDs has a light emitting point, and each of the plurality of LEDs is positioned adjacent an end of the vial and is oriented such that the light emitting point is positioned within the interior of the body of the vial.

The locking member is inserted into the outer member pushing a moveable portion of the outer member into an engagement, such as a shearing engagement, that holds the end cap assembly in place relative to the level body. The clip includes a projection that interfaces with an aperture in the level frame.

摘要： A jigsaw including a housing, a handle extending transverse from the housing in a direction of a handle axis, a battery selectively coupled to the handle, a foot plate coupled to the housing and configured to contact a workpiece, and a drive assembly powered by the battery. The drive assembly includes a motor, a fan, a transmission driven by the motor, and an output spindle driven by the transmission and coupled to a cutting blade. The jigsaw also includes a frame supported within the housing which supports the motor and the transmission. The frame includes a shroud surrounding at least a portion of the fan and an air chute in fluid communication with the shroud that together direct an airflow produced by the fan toward a cutting area adjacent the cutting blade. The jigsaw also includes a baffle that is selectively moveable into the air chute to redirect the airflow away from the cutting blade.

摘要： A tool, such as a digital level, having multiple methods of indicating the orientation of the level. One embodiment of the level includes two or more accelerometers arranged in complimenting orientations, such as 90 degrees with respect to each other. The complimenting orientation allows for more precise measurements from less expensive accelerometers compared to a level with a single more expensive accelerometer. A power supply module, and an associated control module in charge of the power supply, selectively provides power to the accelerometers and displays based in part on user input, movement of the level, and the disposition of the level.
