摘要： A sheet package (9) to be set in a sheet storage unit (6, 106) of a printer (1) for supplying the printer with sheets comprises a stack of sheets (7) and a package member (8) covering the stack of sheets. When the sheet package (9) is set in the printer (1), the sheets (7) are supplied from the sheet package (9) to the printer (1) along a sheet feed direction. The package member (8) has a side part (53) spreading in parallel with the sheet feed direction and having an edge at its front in the sheet feed direction. On a side wall of the sheet storage unit (6, 106), a pressing member (41) for pressing a side face of the stack of sheets (7) is formed in order to align the stack of sheets (7) in a direction orthogonal to the sheet feed direction. The side part (53) places the package member at a proper position in the sheet storage unit (6, 106) in regard to the sheet feed direction by letting the edge make contact with the pressing member (41).

The side part is structured so that a projecting part of the sheet storage unit secures the position of the package member by contacting the front edge of the side part and the side edge of the stack of sheets when the package member is placed in the sheet storage unit relative to the sheet feed direction.

摘要： A manual printing device for printing on a surface of a recording medium when manually scanned in a scanning direction over the recording medium, the manual printing device including: an elongated body to be manually grasped by a user and having an upper tip and a lower tip opposite the upper tip, the lower tip confronting the recording medium when the body is oriented with respect to the recording medium to print on the recording medium; an ink jet print head disposed at the lower tip and capable of printing at a maximum printing width on the surface of the printing medium; a frame disposed at the lower tip and, with respect to the scanning direction, in front of the ink jet print head; a roller rotatably supported on the frame to rotate across the surface of the recording medium when the manual printing device is scanned in the scanning direction over the recording medium; and a protrusion extending from the frame and, when the body is oriented to print on the recording medium, into contact with the recording medium so as to maintain a predetermined distance between the ink jet print head and the recording medium.

摘要： A color image recording apparatus for recording a color image of an original document on a photosensitive paper using at least yellow, magenta and cyan liquid toners respectively containing yellow, magenta and cyan color materials as primary color components. At least one of the three liquid toners contains foreign color materials which are the primary color components of the rest of two liquid toners. To reproduce the color image of the original document with maximum possible fidelity, a disk-shaped rotary filter is provided for receiving imaging light separated into blue, green and red light components and changing light transmission rates passing through the filter so as to be equal to the proportion of the color material to be reproduced which is contained in the yellow, magenta and cyan liquid toners. The light transmission rates are changed each time when one of the yellow, magenta and cyan liquid toners is used.
