摘要: Systems and methods for identification (ID) document verification using hybrid near-field communications (NFC) authentication and optical authentication are provided. An exemplary method includes receiving, by a client device, an image of an ID document. Based on the image of the ID document, a determination is made whether the ID document includes a near-field communications (NFC) chip that stores data comprising identifying information for an owner of the identification. Based on this determination of whether the ID document includes an NFC chip, the ID document is verified by selectively using at least one of NFC chip authentication and optical authentication, to obtain a verification result.

An example method includes transmitting data obtained from a near-field communications (NFC) chip of an object to the service provider. The data can include identifying information for an owner of the object. The method can include receiving a user identity packet from the service provider that is generated by the service provider based on verification of an identity of the owner and validity of the NFC chip, storing the user identity packet on a computing device, receiving a request from a first requesting device or service for the data stored on the NFC chip of the object and transmitting the user identity packet from the computing device to the first requesting device or service instead of the data.

摘要: A method for aligning NFC antennas on a mobile device and document. The method comprises determining the mobile device model identifier, associating the model identifier with a configuration, determining a model type and determining the document configuration in relation to its NFC components, selecting an feedback schema for aligning the NFC antennas based on the device and document configuration, generating alignment feedback according to the alignment feedback schema, detecting a data connection between the mobile device and the document and generating a connection indication. The determining the document type can be performed by reading a Machine Readable Zone. The feedback schema can be coupled with the mobile device's video camera and display, audio, and haptic feedback.

An exemplary method comprises the steps of accessing a model identifier from the device; associating the model identifier with a device configuration stored in a source; associating the document type of the document with a document configuration stored in the source; generating alignment feedback based on image processing of video of the document produced by the camera of the device; detecting for a data connection between the mobile device and the document; and generating a connection indication when the data connection is detected.
