摘要： A heat plate for fixation comprising: a metallic base plate; and a heating resistor arranged on a reverse face of the metallic base plate, the heating resistor being formed by laminating, at least, an electric insulating layer and heating resistor layer in this order on the metallic base plate, wherein the heat plate is capable of raising the temperature of the metallic base plate to a fixing temperature when the heating resistor layer is energized and heated. A semicircular heating member for fixation comprises the heat plate which is curved so that the metallic base plate has a convex surface, a belt type fixing device is provided with the semicircular heating member, and an electrophotographic image forming apparatus is provided with the belt type fixing device comprising the semicircular heating member.

摘要： A heat roller has a cylindrical sheet-like heating element, an inner tube and an outer tube. The sheet-like heating element has a resistance member embedded into an insulating member. The outer tube has a non-linear shape seen in an axial direction. The heat roller is fabricated by supplying pressurized fluid to the inner tube for expanding the inner tube, sheet-like heating element and outer tube toward a die. The die has a non-linear inner shape seen in the axial direction. Therefore, the outer tube of the fabricated heat roller has a non-linear shape. Further, an edge section of the inner tube can simultaneously be formed into a desired shape.

摘要： A toner image transferring device is applied to, for example, an electrophotographic printer for electrostatically transferring a charged toner image from a photosensitive drum to a sheet or paper. The device encompasses a transfer charger disposed near the drum to form a clearance therebetween for feeding an electric charge to the sheet or paper through which the sheet or paper is passed, an electric source for supplying an electric energy to the transfer charger to give the sheet or paper an electric charge having a polarity opposite to that of the charge of the toner image, and a controller for controlling the electric energy output from the electric source the transfer charger so that a leading edge of the sheet or paper can be prevented from being excessively charged.
