摘要: Provided is a toner for electrophotography, comprising a binder resin, a colorant and a charge control agent; said charge control agent comprising an aluminum compound represented by the following formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 represents an alkyl group, a cycloalkyl group or an aralkyl group; R.sub.2 represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, a cycloalkyl group, an aralkyl group, an aryl group, a hydroxyl group or an alkoxyl group; n represents an integer of 2 or 3; and M represents a hydrogen atom, an alkali metal, or an ammonium, aliphatic ammonium or alicyclic ammonium ion.

摘要: A zinc benzoate compound represented by the following general formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 represents an alkyl or aralkyl group; and R.sub.2 and R.sub.3, independently from each other, each represent an alkyl, aralkyl, aryl, alkoxy or acyl group, an amino group which may be substituted, a nitro group or a halogen atom. The compound of the general formula (1) is colorless, highly stable and has excellent dispersibility in a binder resin for an electrophotographic toner, and can impart excellent frictional electrification properties to a toner, therefore being useful particularly as a charge control agent for an electrophotographic toner.

摘要: An autofocus unit, a face authentication information acquiring unit and a face authentication unit are provided. The autofocus unit performs focus adjustment so that a subject within a certain AF area is in focus in an image taken. The face authentication information acquiring unit acquires information required to face-authenticate the subject, from an external memory being separate from the autofocus system and storing information required to face-authenticate plural subjects which are targets to be focused on during taking. The face authentication unit face-authenticates the subject in the taken image to determine as to whether the subject in the taken image is the same person as any of the subjects being targets to be focused on during the taking. If the face authentication unit determines that the subject in the taken image is the same person, the autofocus unit performs the focus adjustment for the subject in the taken image.

摘要: A hydraulic drive device capable of utilizing return oil effectively while maintaining a driven speed of a hydraulic actuator, as well as a working machine having the hydraulic drive device, are provided. The hydraulic drive device includes a controller. During an external force applying period in which a return oil pressure exceeds a discharge pressure from a hydraulic pump, the controller specifies a regenerating flow rate capable of being conducted to a regeneration oil passage and a surplus flow rate other than the regenerating flow rate on the basis of power required of the hydraulic pump out of return oil other than return oil which is conduced to a tank through a control valve, then conducts the return oil of the regenerating flow rate to the regeneration oil passage and controls an MO valve and a regulator so that the return oil of the surplus flow rate is conducted to an outlet oil passage.

摘要: An imaging device, an autofocus unit, a focusing-target registration unit, focusing-target specification unit and an authentication unit are provided. The autofocus unit performs focus adjustment of an optical system so that a subject within a certain AF area is in focus. The focusing-target registration unit registers, as information for specifying subjects to be set to a focusing target, character information and image information of the subjects. The focusing-target specification unit specifies a subject, which is a focusing target during taking, from among the registered subjects to be set to the focusing target. The authentication unit determines as to whether or not the subject being taken matches with the specified subject, which is the focusing target. If the authentication unit determines that the subject being taken matches with the specified subject, which is the focusing target, the autofocus unit performs the focus adjustment for the subject being taken.

摘要: A target detector for accurately detecting frequency components of the stationary target, detecting a moving target from the remaining frequency components and suppressing erroneous detection of the moving target. The detector comprises: a transmitting and receiving section for transmitting a transmission wave and receiving a reflected wave from the target, the transmission wave having a frequency rising section where the frequency increases and a frequency falling section where the frequency decreases; a mixer for mixing the transmission wave and the reflected wave to generate beat signals; a frequency calculating section for calculating frequency components of the beat signals in the frequency rising section and the frequency falling section; and a stationary target frequency detecting section for, when a level of the frequency components in one of the frequency rising section and the frequency falling section exceeds a higher threshold and a level of the same frequency components in the other section exceeds a lower threshold as well as a level difference between both the frequency components is within a predetermined range, detecting these frequency components as those of the stationary target.
