Abstract: A silicone resin emulsion composition, coating compositions comprising such emulsions, and methods of making such emulsions is shown and described herein. The composition comprises a silicone resin, a surfactant, and an emulsion promoting agent. The emulsion promoting agent comprises a hydrophobically modified polyether. The use of the hydrophobically modified polyether along with the surfactant provides a silicone emulsion that is stable.
