    摘要: A sheet delivery mechanism designed to discharge successive sheets to different delivery positions includes offset rollers, an offset unit, an offsetting force generator and an offset unit swinging mechanism. The offset rollers is rotatably supported by the offset unit to discharge each sheet in a sheet transport direction. The offsetting force generator produces a driving force for shifting the offset unit back and forth along a direction perpendicular to the sheet transport direction between a reference position and offset positions. The offset unit swinging mechanism swings the offset unit about an axis parallel to rotary shafts of the offset rollers in such a manner that a sheet output direction in which the offset rollers eject each sheet varies to a direction pointing away from a sheet delivery tray when the offset unit is shifted along the direction perpendicular to the sheet transport direction by the offsetting force generator.

A backlight unit (a lighting device) 1 according to the present invention includes an LED (a light source) 17, a flat cable (a flat conductor) 22 connected to the LED 17, a chassis 14 including a hole 14e, a cable protector (a flat conductor protector) 23 including a protection portion 24 and an insertion hole 24a extending through the protection portion 24. The chassis 14 houses the LED 17. The flat cable 22 is inserted through the insertion hole 24a. The flat conductor protector 23 is arranged such that the protection portion 24 is positioned between an edge of the hole 14e of the chassis 14 and a portion of the flat cable 22 that is positioned in the insertion hole 24a.

    摘要: A feeding device including a cassette removably mounted in the main body of a copying machine to which the feeding device is adapted, a pivotal paper holding plate which is disposed within the cassette and capable of being raised, a lift member for raising the pivotal paper holding plate to an inclined dispensing position, disposed under the pivotal paper holding plate so as to pivot on a vertical plane, a rotary lift-up member for allowing the lift member to pivot thereon, the lift member being secured to the rotary lift-up member, a driving device for transmitting a driving force to the rotary lift-up member, a coupling device interposed in the driving device, for effecting and suspending the transmission of the driving force for rotating the rotary lift-up member, wherein when the cassette is taken out from the main body, the lift member pivots downward due to its own weight, thereby releasing the pivotal paper holding plate from its raised condition. With such an arrangement, even if the cassette is taken out from the main body when the pivotal paper holding plate is in its raised condition, the paper feeding end of the pivotal paper holding plate can be prevented from touching with the paper feed mechanism disposed within the main body, thereby avoiding damage to the contacted parts.

Therefore, expansion deformation of the reflective sheet in the sheet surface direction due to thermal expansion and variation of dimensions due to mold tolerance can be absorbed by the clearances C. As a result, deflection and curling of the reflective sheet is reliably prevented.

    摘要: An apparatus for controlling a sheet supplying device having a feeding device capable of feeding a copying sheet from a plurality of stacked copying sheets in a sheet stacking portion and a reversing device capable of returning copying sheets desired not to be fed at an instance of feeding process includes an unit for applying a rotational driving force to the feeding device so as to draw a copying sheet out of the stacked copying sheets in the sheet stacking portion by rotating the feeding device in one direction, and an unit for applying a rotational driving force to the reversing device so as to return a copying sheet desired not to be fed to the sheet stacking portion at a time when a plurality of copying sheets are simultaneously fed out from the sheet stacking portion by rotating the reversing device in another direction. The apparatus also includes an unit for controlling both of the applying units such that the rotational driving force applied to the feeding device is stopped at a time when a copying sheet to be fed has passed on the feeding device and the rotational driving force applied to the reversing device is kept to apply to the reversing device at least for a predetermined time period after stopping to apply the rotational driving force to the feeding device. The applying unit for applying the rotational force to the feeding device is capable of applying a rotational force which is enable to rotate the feeding device in the another direction. The controlling unit is capable of applying a rotational driving force to the feeding device so as to rotate in the another direction for a constant time period.
