Abstract:
A three-terminal multilayer ceramic capacitor includes a first internal electrode layer including a first counter electrode portion opposite to a second internal electrode layer, a first drawn electrode portion extending from the first counter electrode portion to a first end surface, and a second drawn electrode portion extending from the first counter electrode portion to a second end surface, the second internal electrode layer includes a second counter electrode portion opposite to the first internal electrode layer, a third drawn electrode portion extending from the second counter electrode portion to a first side surface, and a fourth drawn electrode portion extending from the second counter electrode portion to a second side surface. The first drawn electrode portion is bent and faces a first or second principal surface. The second drawn electrode portion is bent and faces the first or second principal surface.
Abstract:
A ceramic electronic component includes a ceramic main body in which dielectric layers and internal electrodes are laminated, the ceramic main body including a pair of principal surfaces, a pair of side surfaces, and a pair of end surfaces, the internal electrodes are exposed to the end surfaces, and an underlayer external electrode covers at least a portion of the end surface. When a section of the ceramic main body is viewed, the underlayer external electrode is discontinuously provided on the ceramic main body. The ceramic main body includes an exposed region partially exposed from the discontinuously provided underlayer external electrode, the exposed region is covered with a resin layer, and the underlayer external electrode is covered with a plating film.
Abstract:
In a multilayer capacitor, both a minimum distance in a thickness direction between a first effective portion of a first inner electrode and a second main surface and a minimum distance in the thickness direction between a second effective portion of a second inner electrode and the second main surface are shorter than any of a dimension in the thickness direction of a first extending portion of the first inner electrode, a dimension in the thickness direction of a second extending portion of the first inner electrode and a dimension in the thickness direction of the third extending portion of the second inner electrode.
Abstract:
In a multilayer capacitor, a dimension of a third terminal electrode on a second main surface in a length direction is greater than a dimension of first and second terminal electrodes on the second main surface in the length direction. The first to third terminal electrodes extend across the second main surface from one end to the other end in a width direction and have a thickest portion at a portion on a side of the other end beyond the center portion in the width direction, and the thickest portion projects toward the center in the length direction.
