摘要: A scanning type readout device having a photoelectric conducting layer and electrode segments arranged one-dimensionally on one surface of the photoelectric conducting layer. The electrode segments are electrically insulated from each other and each has a size equal to one image element and opposite electrodes are arranged on the other side surface of the photoelectric conducting layer so that each of the opposite electrodes is in opposition to a plurality of the electrode segments. First semiconductor switches are connected respectively to the opposite electrodes and second semiconductor switches connected respectively to some of said electrode segments. A common load resistor and a power source are connected between the first and second semiconductor switches, and a scan-controller is used for opening and closing the first and second semiconductor switches in a predetermined sequence thereby to apply a voltage sequentially between the electrode segments and the opposite electrodes so that the electrode segments are scanned one-dimentionally. Either of the electrode segments or the opposite electrodes are made transparent and a light image is projected on the photoelectric conducting layer from the side of the transparent electrodes.

摘要: An improved photoelectric converting device in a layered structure comprising a base board, a plurality of divided electrodes, a photoelectric film and a common electrode is disclosed, wherein the improvement consists in that the width of a photoelectric current lead-out portion extending from each of the divided electrodes is dimensioned less than that of the body constituting the latter whereby an area of an intersected part formed by a combination of the divided electrodes and the common electrode, i.e., an area of each of light beam receiving sections becomes relatively constant among them, resulting in substantial reduction of an effect of unevenness or irregularity along the end part of the common electrode on image reproductivity of the respective light beam receiving sections.

摘要: An original document reading apparatus has a photocathode on which an image of an original document is focused. An array of secondary electron multipliers are arranged for multiplying the photoelectrons emitted from the photocathode. A plurality of anodes face the secondary electron multipliers, and capacitors are connected between the respective anodes and ground. A common load resistor is connected to the respective anodes through series circuits each including two electronic switch arrays. A scanning circuit is used for opening and closing the series connected switches to sequentially connect the common load resistor to the anodes to scan them. An amplifier circuit is used for amplifying the output which is generated in the common load resistor. The first of the electronic switch arrays are separated into n groups so that control is effected for every group and the drain terminals of the corresponding first described switches in the groups are commonly connected to the source terminals of the second electronic switch array thereby reducing the required number of the electronic switches.

摘要: In the image sensor, thin film transistors are provided in the one-to-one correspondence to the photoelectric conversion element these thin film transistors being divided into blocks of adjoining ones whose gate electrodes are mutually connected, and the switching signal is sequentially supplied to each mutually connected gate electrodes of the same block. Further, the output electrodes of those thin film transistors located in the corresponding positions in each odd and even numbered blocks are mutually connected, and the charge transfer circuits comprising the MOS transistors are provided corresponding to respective common connection line groups of odd numbered block and even numbered block. By this construction, at the time of picking up the outputs of the photoelectric conversion elements, the switching period for the thin film transistors can be retained as long as the original reading time of a plurality of the photoelectric conversion elements corresponding to a plurality of the thin film transistors whose gate electrodes are mutually connected, and therefore the speed of outputting read signal is determined soley by the MOS transistor switching speed. In addition, the number of the connection lines required may be as small as the number of the common connection lines.

摘要: A camera tube apparatus for use in reading a document reader, such as in a facsimile system, which provides for accurate output from light-receiving devices with crosstalk eliminated. In this apparatus, at least one surface of a connecting electrode connecting a split electrode and a reading switch is provided through an insulative layer with a conducting layer connected to ground. The capacitance formed between the connecting electrode and the conducting layer is made greater than that of the light-receiving device.

摘要: An electro-optical picture signal processing system, wherein an optical image is converted into time sequential electrical picture signals, or, conversely, time sequential electrical picture signals into an optical image or an electrostatic latent image, is provided with an electron emission plane arranged in one-dimension, a control electrode positioned face to face with said plane to control the passing of electrons from the electron emission plane, a secondary-electron multiplying device yielding secondary-electrons in response to the electrons passing through the control electrode, and an anode collecting the multiplied secondary-electrons. At least one of the electron emission plane and the control electrode is divided into a number of segments each as large as a picture-element, arranged in one-dimension, and one of the segments is selected from one end to the other. When an optical image is converted into time sequential electrical signals, the number of the electrons passing through a selected segment portion is controlled in response to brightness of each picture-element of the optical image. On the other hand, when time sequential electrical signals are converted into an optical image or an electrostatic latent image, the potential difference between the selected part of the electron emission plane and the control electrode is controlled by time sequential picture signals.

摘要: An original reading device of the close-contact type such as may be used in a facsimile system in which the number of interconnections required for the device is made quite small and slow switching times of thin film transistors employed in the device are tolerated. Thin film transistors have input electrodes connected to corresponding photoelectric conversion elements. The thin film transistors are divided into a plurality of ordered groups with gate electrodes of each of the thin film transistors within each group being connected together. A first shift register applies first switching signals to connection points of the gate electrodes of each of the groups in time sequence. Output electrodes of the even- and odd-ordered groups of the thin film transistors are connected to corresponding lines of first and second sets of connecting lines, respectively. Temporary storing means, in the form of stray capacitors, are connected to each of the connecting lines. MOS transistors, which are activated in sequence by a second shift register, transfer the signal charges temporarily stored in the temporary storing means to an output terminal.

摘要: An improved image pick-up apparatus for use in a facsimile equipment, phototelegraphic apparatus or the like is disclosed which enables these equipment and apparatus to have a reduced height with the aid of light beam passage changing devices such as mirrors. In this apparatus light beam is first emitted to the surface of an original manuscript from a light source and then the light beam after being reflected on the surface of the manuscript advances to photoelectric converting elements of an elongated photo sensor by way of the light beam passage changing device which serves to direct the light beam reflected on the surface of the manuscript to the photoelectric converting elements in such a manner that the optical axis of an optical system such as a light beam condensing optical fiber for building an image on the latter is directed substantially in parallel with the surface of the original manuscript.

摘要: A small, light-weight copying machine which is capable of being carried and which includes none of the bulky components ordinarily found in a copying machine. A light receiving element mounted upon a moving element is manually scanned over an original document. The light receiving element produces an image signal which in turn controls a thermal recording head which records upon a heat-sensitive recording sheet. The thermal recording head and light receiving element are both mounted upon a single moving element with the thermal recording head being stationarily mounted thereon and the light receiving element being movable therealong in a longitudinal scanning direction. The heat-sensitive recording sheet is moved in correspondence with lateral movement of the light receiving element.
