The support assembly further includes an elastic member elastically biasing the locking member to the releasing position and a pressing member provided on the cover for pressing the locking member to remain in the locking position when the covered is closed to cover the opening.
Abstract:
A magnetic recording/reproducing apparatus whereby the movements of various parts of a deck are fast and a very stabilized operation is attained. The apparatus includes a deck having a rotating head drum, a capstan motor and a pinch roller disposed adjacent to the head drum, and two reel driving tables onto which a tape reel of a tape cassette is seated. A motor is installed in the deck for generating power. A cassette loading device is provided for loading/unloading the tape cassette onto/from the reel driving tables. A master gear member rotated by the motor, a main slide member having a rack gear connected to the master gear member, a tape loading device interlocked with the main slide member for loading a tape of the tape cassette toward the head drum, a pinch roller driving device interlocked with the main slide member and pressed/separated against/from a shaft of the capstan motor for driving the pinch roller so that the tape is pressingly transferred are provided. A reel driving device is interlocked with the main slide member for selectively driving the two reel driving tables. A brake device is interlocked with the main slide member for selectively braking the two reel driving tables, and a mode identifying device is interlocked with the cassette loading device for determining the recording feasibility of the tape.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a full width erase head assembly for a magnetic reproducer. According to the present invention, a horizontal flow preventing member is extended to a predetermined angle from a rear side portion of the body which is installed on the main base. A vertical flow preventing member which is parallel to the horizontal flow preventing member and faces mutually opposite direction around the body of the FE head are installed at a lower portion of the body of the FE head compared to the height of the horizontal flow preventing member.
Abstract:
A cassette loading apparatus in a tape recorder includes a deck on opposite side surfaces of which a loading slit and a protrusion are formed. A cassette holder on which a tape cassette is received is provided and has a pair of side surfaces, each of the side surfaces having a guide protrusion which is slidably combined with a corresponding one of the loading slits. A loading shaft arm is provided and includes side arms each rotatably connected to a corresponding one of the opposite side surfaces of the deck and having a first slot with which the guide protrusion of the cassette holder is combined, and a second slot with which the protrusion of the deck is combined, and a beam for connecting the side arms. A driving mechanism is provided for rotating the side arms. Therefore, the total number of components is reduced, and productivity is enhanced because of the simple assembly. A method of assembling the cassette loading apparatus is also provided.
Abstract:
A pole base moving apparatus of a tape recorder in which the link structure of a pole base which pulls out a magnetic tape from a tape cassette to a head drum is provided. The pole base moving apparatus includes a slide member which has a reciprocating motion produced by a motor and in which moving slots of a predetermined pattern are formed and first and second link members whose one ends are respectively combined with a pair of pole bases and the other ends of which have protrusions which respectively enter and exit the moving slots. Accordingly, it is possible to simplify the structure compared with the conventional technology, thus simplifying the assembly process and reducing the number of the parts and manufacturing costs.
Abstract:
A head cleaning apparatus and a magnetic recording and reproducing device having the same are disclosed. The head cleaning apparatus includes a cleaning member for cleaning a head, a lever member for supporting and fixing the cleaning member, and for operating to bring the cleaning member into contact with the head by engaging a pole base assembly in a moving section of the pole base assembly during loading and unloading of a tape, and a fixing member for snap-fixing the lever member in a deck plate. The lever member of the head cleaning unit may be integrally formed with the fixing member as one component. The lever member may be snap-fixed at the deck plate by the fixing member. Accordingly, the number of separate molding steps required during manufacturing and the number of assembly processes are both decreased, thereby lowering manufacturing costs and increasing productivity.

Abstract:
A review pole support structure in a tape recorder minimizes the vibration of a review pole, which is used for guiding tape movement, and enables easy control of the perpendicularity and height of the review pole. The review pole support structure includes a review arm to which the review pole is perpendicularly and fixedly attached. The review arm is installed on the deck of the tape recorder so as to be rotatable between first and second locations, moving the review pole between first and second positions, respectively. In the second location, the review arm is pressed downward toward the deck by a resilient member to provide stability. Also, in the second position, a grounding member electrically contacts the review pole and the deck to remove static electricity from the review pole. Protrusions on the review arm are in contact with the deck.
