摘要: A gas detection apparatus for detecting the concentration of a first gas component contained in a gas under measurement includes a gas conversion section for convening the first gas component to a second gas component, a gas detection section whose electrical characteristics change with a change in the concentration of the second gas component when the gas detection section is in an activated state, and a detection state setting section. During a detection period, the detection state setting section sets the state of gas detection by the gas detection section to a detection executed state in which the gas detection section can detect the second gas component. During periods which are not the detection period, the detection state setting section sets the state of gas detection by the gas detection section to a detection suspended state in which the gas detection section does not detect the second gas component.

摘要: A gas sensor includes a ceramic wiring board having an opening and a sensor element fixedly suspended within the opening through electricity conducting members. A distal end portion of the ceramic wiring board is accommodated in a casing, and a proximal end portion extends to the outside of the casing. Electrically conductive pads connected to the electricity conducting members through lead traces are disposed on the front and back surfaces of the proximal end portion. The width of the distal end portion is larger than the width of a narrow region of the proximal end portion that includes the electrically conductive pads and portions of the lead traces. The gas sensor further includes a tubular insulator circumferentially surrounding the narrow region and a plurality of spring terminals that are accommodated in the insulator and come into elastic contact with the electrically conductive pads.

摘要: A gas sensor includes a wiring board having an opening, a sensor element disposed within the opening and having a detection section and a heater section, and a plurality of electricity conducting members each of which has a first end portion joined to the wiring board and a second end portion joined to the sensor element and which establish electrical connection between the wiring board and the sensor element. The plurality of electricity conducting members fixedly suspend the sensor element within the opening. At least one of the electricity conducting members is a particular electricity conducting member having a plate-like shape, and the particular electricity conducting member includes at least one bent portion between the second end portion joined to the sensor element and the first end portion joined to the wiring board, the bent portion being bent in a thickness direction of the particular electricity conducting member.

摘要: In an electrochemical gas sensor (10), a first sensing element (21) is stored in a first storage portion (31). A moisture permeable film (24) is disposed in a first introduction inlet (31A) of the first storage portion (31). The moisture permeable film (24) substantially prevents a to-be-detected gas from permeating therethrough. A second sensing element (22) is disposed in a space into which water vapor and the to-be-detected gas contained in a target gas flow. In such a configuration, the electrochemical gas sensor (10) is capable of detecting a to-be-detected gas having a concentration of 0 or more and 1 ppm or less.
