    Abstract: A method for manufacturing a stabilizer, the stabilizer including a main body bar that is elastically deformable, and a pair of connecting plates that are separately connected to a pair of left and right suspension devices, the method including a forging step of forming the connecting pate by forging both end portions of a material tube, in which in the forging step, both end portions of the material tube are crushed in a radial direction to be formed into the connecting plate in a state where a sealing metal plate heated to a temperature equal to or higher than a melting point is disposed inside both end portions of the material tube heated to a temperature lower than the melting point.

    Abstract: A stabilizer is a stabilizer including: a main body cylinder portion which is elastically deformable; and a pair of connection portions respectively connected to a pair of left and right suspension devices, wherein a fixed shaft portion which is solid and fixed to the main body cylinder portion is provided to the connection portion, wherein the fixed shaft portion includes a fitting portion fitted into the main body cylinder portion and a large diameter portion connecting the fitting portion and the connection portion and formed to have a diameter larger than that of the fitting portion.

    Abstract: A stabilizer is a stabilizer including: a main body cylinder portion which is elastically deformable and a pair of connection plate portions respectively connected to a pair of left and right suspension devices, wherein the connection plate portion includes a pair of base material portions located on both sides in the connection plate portion in a plate thickness direction T and an alloy oxide region which is disposed between the pair of base material portions and in which alloy oxides are scattered, and wherein crystal grains constituting the pair of base material portions straddle the alloy oxide region in the plate thickness direction and the pair of base material portions are joined.
