Abstract: The wavelength converter includes a support, and a wavelength conversion layer disposed on the support. The wavelength conversion layer contains a fluorescent layer containing a fluorescent material with a composition represented by formula (1) below, and having a thickness of from 5 μm to 155 μm. Abstract: A wavelength conversion member includes: a light-transmissive member; and a wavelength conversion material located on a surface of the light-transmissive member and including: a resin, a phosphor with a median particle diameter of 10 μm or more and 30 μm or less, wherein an amount of the phosphor in the wavelength conversion material is 165 parts by mass or more and 400 parts by mass or less relative to 100 parts by mass of the resin, and a filler with a median particle diameter of 5 μm or more and 40 μm or less, wherein an amount of the filler in the wavelength conversion material is 5 parts by mass or more and 90 parts by mass or less relative to 100 parts by mass of the resin.
