Abstract: A joint assembly for a vehicle includes an outer race, a fitting, a cap and a stop member. The fitting is disposed in the outer race. The fitting is configured to be axially movable and rotationally fixed relative to the outer race. The cap is connected to the outer race. The stop member is removably received by the cap. The stop member substantially prevents axial movement of the fitting in a direction toward the cap.
