Abstract: A polarizing film having a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, said polarizing film comprising a polarizer film and a first transparent protective film, wherein a first pressure-sensitive adhesive layer is provided on the first transparent protective film side of the polarizing film. The polarizer film has a film thickness of 20 μm or less; the first pressure-sensitive adhesive layer is used for the bonding of a front transparent member that is arranged at the viewing side of an image display device, while having a difference between the saturation moisture percentage (A) at 80° C. at 85% R.H. and the saturation moisture percentage (B) at 25° C. at 50% R.H., namely ((A)−(B)) of 1.0% by weight or more. This polarizing film having a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer is able to suppress decrease in the single transmittance of the polarizing film in a high temperature environment.

Abstract: Provided is an optical pressure-sensitive adhesive composition that gives a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer having such heating reworkability as to be easily removed from a component such as cover glass at a temperature higher than the service temperature of an image display device. The optical pressure-sensitive adhesive composition of the present invention gives a release force X of 4.0 N/20 mm or less, where the release force X is a release force determined by applying a film to a glass plate through a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer made from the optical pressure-sensitive adhesive composition, and puling the film at a temperature of 100° C., a peel angle of 180 degrees, and a tensile speed of 50 mm/min.

Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a pressure-sensitive adhesive composition that enables a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer to be formed, the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer allowing the appearance of a display device and an input device to be unlikely to deteriorate even under low pressure conditions, a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, a pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet, an optical member, and a touch panel. The pressure-sensitive adhesive composition of the present invention contains an acrylic polymer (A) and a hydrogenated polyolefinic resin (B). The acrylic polymer (A) contains a (meth)acrylic alkyl ester having an alkyl group having 8 or more carbon atoms as a constituent monomer component. The hydrogenated polyolefinic resin (B) contains a hydrogenated polyolefin.
