Abstract: A method for hybrid touch sensing for detecting a normal touch and a force touch concurrently is provided. The method includes the following steps. Provide a first driving signal to a first capacitor, wherein the first driving signal is a periodic signal with a first frequency. Provide a second driving signal to a second capacitor, wherein the second driving signal is a periodic signal with a second frequency different from the first frequency. Generate a composite sensing signal by feeding the first driving signal and the second driving signal to a front-end circuit. Extract information from the composite sensing signal to calculate a first change in capacitance of the first capacitor and a second change in capacitance of the second capacitor to detect the normal touch and the force touch concurrently.

Abstract: A display device with a force sensing device is provided. The display device with the force sensing device includes a display layer and a non-display layer. The display layer is configured to display an image. The non-display layer is disposed below the display layer. The non-display layer includes a first signal transmission layer and a first signal transmission layer. The deformable layer is disposed on a surface of the first signal transmission layer. The force sensing device includes the deformable layer, the first signal transmission layer and a second signal transmission layer. The second signal transmission layer is disposed above the first signal transmission layer. One of the first signal transmission layer and the second signal transmission layer receives a driving signal and the other of the first signal transmission layer and the second signal transmission layer receives a sensing signal.

Abstract: A touch display panel and a manufacturing method thereof are provided. The touch display panel includes a substrate, a conductor, a first pressure sensing electrode and a second pressure sensing electrode. The conductor is stacked under the substrate, and the conductor is not connected to a bias. The first pressure sensing electrode is disposed on the substrate and disposed above the conductor. A compression zone exists between the first pressure sensing electrode and the conductor, so as to form a first pressure sensing capacitor. The second pressure sensing electrode is disposed on the substrate and disposed above the conductor. The compression zone exists between the second pressure sensing electrode and the conductor, so as to form a second pressure sensing capacitor connected in series with the first pressure sensing capacitor.
