    Abstract: An integrated circuit includes a host interface coupled to a host device executing a tenant operating system (OS) on bare metal and hardware accelerator(s) coupled to the host interface and a network interface. The hardware accelerator(s) receive, over the host interface, a snapshot request relating to a snapshot of tenant OS. Snapshot request includes a location, in a physical memory of the host device, of a swap file having contents of random access memory of the host device. The hardware accelerator(s) encrypt the swap file and initiate transfer of the encrypted swap file to a network storage device coupled to a cloud-based server. The hardware accelerator(s) send, over the network interface, to a snapshot manager hosted by the cloud-based server, metadata associated with storing the encrypted swap file in the cloud-based server, to allow the snapshot manager to manage the snapshot of the tenant OS.

    Abstract: Systems and methods include a cloud-hosted management plane where an authenticated user can initiate a request to establish a remote session to an edge device. A request may be transmitted to create a secure tunnel between the edge device and the cloud-based management plane. The edge device may receive and use a set of credentials to trigger a web-socket tunnel from the edge device to the cloud-hosted management plane. This connection may be used for management of an edge device(s), troubleshooting edge inferencing, access/use of edge applications, and various other applications.

    Abstract: Devices and methods to obtain values usable to verify the geographic location of a device. In at least one embodiment, a device comprises a positioning circuit and a cryptoprocessor. The device obtains geographic coordinates of the device's location, using the positioning circuit. The device stores, in the cryptoprocessor, information indicating the state of the device and the geographic coordinates. The device uses the cryptoprocessor to obtain values usable to validate the geographic location of the device.
