    摘要: A device of the present invention includes: apparatus for photographing an anterior eye segment of a subject; a first display device for displaying an image of the anterior eye segment; a device for processing the displayed image to detect the relative positions of a pupil and a contact lens, respectively; a calculating apparatus for obtaining the relationship of relative positions between them by calculating; and a second display device for displaying the obtained relationship of the relative positions. The described arrangement is particularly useful for inspecting a condition for the putting on of the contact lens by measuring the relationship of the relative positions between the contact lens at the time of being put on and the pupil of the concerned eye segment.

    摘要: A presbyopia correction contact lens to be used in contact with a cornea of an eye of a wearer, the contact lens having a substantially circular central correction region and an annular outer correction region which surrounds the central correction region, the central and outer correction regions providing one and the other of a near vision correction region and a distance vision correction region, respectively, wherein the central correction region has a center which is offset by a distance of 0.2 mm-2.4 mm from a geometric center of the contact lens toward a side portion of the lens, which side portion is to be located on the side of the nose of the wearer when the contact lens is used in contact with the cornea, and the central correction region has a diameter within a range of 0.8 mm-3.5 mm.

    摘要: Provided is a contact lens of double thin type ensuring a comfortable wearing sensation, enabling improvement of oxygen permeability and tear exchange, and having a novel structure. An optical zone having no deviation of a center of gravity by a prism is formed. A pair of thin portions extending circumferentially and having a constant thickness are formed on both upper and lower sides of a peripheral zone, and a pair of thick portions extending circumferentially and having a thickness larger than that of the thin portions are formed on both left and right sides. One or more concavities are positioned symmetrically in a left-right direction during wear in a posterior surface of each of the thick portions. A minimum thickness at a portion where the concavity is formed is larger than the thickness of the thin portions.

An optical zone provided in a center of a lens has a concave rear surface optical zone substantially matching a surface profile of a cornea and has a convex front surface optical zone imparting required spherical diopter power and geometrical center thickness, and a face of either the rear surface optical zone or the front surface optical zone is designed to impart thereto cylindrical power and axial angle required for a toric surface. Furthermore, a junction thickness is established in a joint zone that connects the optical zone with a peripheral zone at multiple sites in a circumferential direction about a geometrical lens center axis of the optical zone. Position of the joint zone is determined on the circumference from profiles established on the rear surface optical zone and the front surface optical zone so as to connect points satisfying the junction thickness thusly established.
