摘要: Self-aligning mechanisms hold a condenser housing. The condenser housing is moved toward an integrator while tapered surfaces of the condenser housing of an LED light source unit are inserted along condenser lens guides of a projection unit. LED light source unit datum surfaces and datum surfaces of the projection unit abut against each other, and the tapered surfaces of the LED light source unit can no longer move toward the integrator along the condenser lens guides of the projection unit. In this state, the LED light source unit and the projection unit are coupled to each other.

摘要: A package structure prevents an optical sheet from being brought into contact with a display panel and making scratches on the display panel due to motion caused during transport of a display device, thereby minimizing cost increase. A package structure for a thin display device is the structure for storing the thin display device in a package case. The thin display device includes at least one optical sheet situated in approximately parallel with its display surface, and the package case includes a storage member for holding a thin display device with the optical sheet having a surface inclined relative to a vertical direction.

摘要: The present invention is directed to provide a light source apparatus that includes space-saving LED cooling unit, and a projector type image display apparatus including the same. The light source apparatus of the present invention includes a plurality of LEDs, a plurality of heatsinks that are respectively thermally coupled to the LEDs and that are disposed in series with an interval between each other, and a cooler mechanism that sends a cooling airflow into the heatsinks along their disposition direction. A heatsink included in the plurality of heatsinks that dissipates the heat of an LED having a greater heat generating amount out of the plurality of LEDs is disposed downstream in the cooling airflow from the other heatsink.
