    摘要： A photoconductive composition is disclosed, containing at least one trisazo compound represented by the following general formula (1): ##STR1## wherein Z represents ##STR2## R.sup.6 represents a hydrogen atom, a lower alkyl group, an aryl group, an aryloxy group, an alkoxycarbonyl group, an aryloxycarbonyl group, an acyl group, or a substituted group of them; As', which may be the same or different, each represents ##STR3## B.sup.1, B.sup.2 and B.sup.3 each represents a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a lower alkyl group, a lower alkoxy group or a substituted lower alkyl group or lower alkoxy group, and B.sup.1, B.sup.2 and B.sup.3 may be identical or different; X represents an atomic group necessary to form an aromatic ring or heterocyclic ring, which may be substituted or unsubstituted, by condensing with the benzene ring to which the hydroxyl group and Y are bonded; Y represents ##STR4## R.sup.1 represents an alkyl group, a phenyl group or a substituted alkyl or phenyl group; R.sup.2 represents a hydrogen atom, a lower alkyl group, a carbamoyl group, a carboxyl group, an alkoxycarbonyl group, an aryloxycarbonyl group or a substituted or unsubstituted amino group; R.sup.3 represents an alkyl group, an aromatic group or a heteroaromatic group or a substituted alkyl group, aromatic group or heteroaromatic group; and R.sup.4 and R.sup.5, which may be the same or different, each represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an aromatic group, a heteroaromatic group or a substituted alkyl group, aromatic group or heteroaromatic group, provided that R.sup.4 and R.sup.5 are not both hydrogen atoms, and R.sup.5 is not a hydrogen atom when Y is ##STR5## . An electrophotographic light-sensitive material is also disclosed, comprising an electrically conductive base and a layer containing an electric charge carrier transport compound and the trisazo compound as an electric charge carrier generating compound.

    摘要： An electrophotographic photoreceptor is described, comprising a photosensitive layer disposed on a conductive substrate, said photosensitive layer having a laminated structure comprising an electric charge generating layer and an electric charge transporting layer, said electric charge generating layer containing a phthalocyanine pigment which is selected from .epsilon.-type copper phthalocyanine, aluminum chloride phthalocyanine, vanadyl phthalocyanine, X-type or t-type phthalocyanine, indium chloride phthalocyanine, titanyl phthalocyanine, germanium chloride phthalocyanine, calcium chloride phthalocyanine, and magnesium phthalocyanine, one of the benzene rings of the aluminum chloride or indium chloride phthalocyanine being optionally monochlorinated, and said electric charge transporting layer containing at least one bishydrazone compound as represented by formula (I) or (II) ##STR1## X is represented by the formula ##STR2## wherein l and n each is 0 or an integer of 1 to 6, and m is 0 or 1; Y represents an oxygen atom, a sulfur atom, a selenium atom, an unsubstituted or substituted imino group, or an unsubstituted or substituted methylene group; andZ represents an atomic group forming a benzene or naphthalene ring.

    摘要： An electrophotographic light sensitive element is disclosed. The element is comprised of a photoconductive support base having provided thereon a disazo compound dispersed in a binder or a charge carrier-transporting medium. A novel group of disazo compounds are disclosed as represented by the general formula (I), (II) and (III) as defined within the specification. In addition to the light sensitive element the disazo compounds and electrophotographic compositions containing them are part of the invention disclosed. The electrophotographic light sensitive elements have high sensitivity and long durability.
