The main screen 11 displays thereon topographical feature information 13 of a road where the travelling test is carried out. A marker 14 that indicates a vehicle state is shown at an intersection of the topographical feature information 13 and a reference line 15 that indicates a present position of the tested vehicle 6. This marker 14 is shown with the marker 14 inclined in accordance with a gradient of the road where the test is carried out. Further, a curve band 28 indicating curve information of the road where the travelling test is carried out is shown on the main screen 11. The curve band 28 is shown with a color of the curve band 28 changed in accordance with an angle of the curve. In addition, the travelling speed pattern 12 is created on the basis of data of GPS or a map data 10. Furthermore, a travelling route where the travelling test is carried out is displayed on an auxiliary display device on the basis of data to create the travelling speed pattern.

    摘要: In a running test, wheels 2 of a vehicle 1 are mounted on rollers 3. Each roller 3 receives torque corresponding to the running resistance N, which is a value corresponding to the running resistance applied to the vehicle 1 on the actual ground. Further, in the test, the actual friction coefficient μch between the wheels 2 and the rollers 3 is calculated. The running resistance N is then corrected in such a manner that the actual friction coefficient μch becomes equal to the friction coefficient μj on the actual ground that is calculated based on the slip ratio of the wheels 2 with respect to the rollers 3. This approximates the running resistance applied to the vehicle 1 by the rollers 3 to the running resistance applied to the vehicle 1 on the actual ground as the torque is applied to the rollers 3 in correspondence with the corrected running resistance N. This prevents the drive force produced by the vehicle 1 in the running test from becoming different from the drive force that should be produced by the vehicle 1 running on the actual ground.

    摘要: At a highland, a composition rate of air resistance is low which is included in a running resistance, because air density is low. This influences a vehicle running. Hence, a high-altitude environmental test for a vehicle by use of chassis dynamometer produces a result different from that of actual-road running. Therefore, an environmental-correction calculating section is provided on an input side of a running-resistance-command generating section configured to generate a running-resistance command. The environmental-correction calculating section receives an air temperature signal and an air pressure signal which are detected inside an environmental test laboratory, calculates an environmental correction value of rolling resistance and an environmental correction value of air resistance, and calculates a target running resistance from the environmental correction values. The running-resistance-command generating section controls the chassis dynamometer by generating the running-resistance command based on the target running resistance and a speed detection signal of the chassis dynamometer.

    摘要: In a running test, vehicle wheels are mounted on rollers. Each roller receives torque corresponding to the running resistance, which is a value corresponding to the running resistance applied to the vehicle on actual ground. The actual friction coefficient between the wheels and the rollers is calculated. The running resistance is corrected such that the actual friction coefficient becomes equal to the friction coefficient on actual ground that is calculated based on the slip ratio of the wheels with respect to the rollers. This approximates the running resistance applied to the vehicle by the rollers to the running resistance applied to the vehicle on actual ground as the torque is applied to the rollers in correspondence with the corrected running resistance. This prevents the drive force produced by the vehicle in the running test from becoming different than the drive force that is produced when running on actual ground.

    摘要: A running resistance device for a chassis dynamometer performs an environmental test while applying a running resistance and an environmental condition similar to a road running to the chassis dynamometer. Air-conditioning equipment, a thermometer and a barometer are provided in an environmental test laboratory. An air-conditioning control panel and a chassis-dynamometer control section are provided outside the environmental test laboratory. An environmental-correction calculating section of the chassis-dynamometer calculates an environmental correction value of a rolling resistance and an environmental correction value of an air resistance coefficient from air-temperature and air-pressure values detected by the thermometer and barometer, respectively; calculates a target running resistance from the calculated environmental correction values; and outputs the target running resistance to a running-resistance-command generating section of the chassis-dynamometer, which controls the chassis dynamometer by generating the running-resistance command based on the target running resistance and a detection signal of speed of the chassis dynamometer.
