Methods and apparatus for separating an unpolarized light beam into four beams as a function of wavelength and polarization; selectively modulating the four beams respectively using four light valves; and combining the four modulated beams to generate two orthogonally polarized light beams.

    摘要: The present invention discloses a backup power device, system and method of use. The backup power device includes a panel, a first switch box electrically connected to the panel, a second switch box electrically connected to the panel, a switch box plug for routing electrical power through the panel, and an external power source coupled to the first switch box of the panel to power a connected device. The backup power system includes a service panel connecting a building to a power grid, a hard wired device powered by the service panel, a backup power device, and an external power source providing power for routing through the first switch box of the panel to the hard wired device. The backup power device including a panel, a first switch box, a second switch box, and a switch box plug. A method for using the backup power device is also disclosed.

    摘要: An optical system for a digital light projection system is provided. The optical system comprises a plurality of LED arrays, wherein each LED array comprises a plurality of LEDs. The optical system also comprises an optical concentrator element positioned substantially adjacent to each of the LED arrays, wherein each concentrator element reflects light emitted from the plurality of LEDs within the corresponding LED array. The optical system preferably further comprises a reflective aperture element positioned substantially adjacent to the output surface of each concentrator element. The aperture element includes a reflective surface and an aperture defined by the reflective surface. The reflective surface faces the output surface of each corresponding concentrator element to thereby ultimately provide substantially uniform light which is projected through the aperture.

Compared with the conventional processes, the above process can be very easily effected and enables an efficient production of the compounds (XV), i.e., those involving the compounds (XVI) having an HIV protease inhibitory effect in high yields. The novel intermediates are highly advantageous as intermediates for producing not only the above compounds (XVI) but also those which are useful as an X-ray contrast medium, etc.

    摘要: An optical system for a digital light projection system is provided. The optical system comprises a plurality of LED arrays, wherein each LED array comprises a plurality of LEDs. The optical system also comprises an optical concentrator element positioned substantially adjacent to each of the LED arrays, wherein each concentrator element reflects light emitted from the plurality of LEDs within the corresponding LED array so as to provide substantially uniform light at an output surface of each concentrator element. The optical system preferably further comprises an optical combiner element, wherein the output surface of each concentrator element is optically aligned with a corresponding side of the combiner element, and wherein the combiner element chromatically combines the substantially uniform light provided at the output surface of each concentrator element so as to form color-combined light at an output surface of the combiner element. In one embodiment, the combiner element comprises a first dichroic element and a second dichroic element, and wherein the first dichroic element and the second dichroic element are positioned substantially adjacent to each other and are angled with respect to each other so as to form a substantially V-shaped pattern.

In one embodiment, the plurality of LED arrays consists of 3 LED arrays, wherein the 3 LED arrays consist of 3 single-color LED arrays, and wherein each of the 3 single-color LED arrays is of a different color from one another.
