Abstract:
In a phase discriminator device for receiving, as input, a complex signal whose argument represents a phase error, and for producing, as output, an estimate of the phase error for each signal sample Zn+1 received, the device includes a frequency discriminator and a computation part for determining the phase estimate obtained at an instant (N+1)T1. The computation part determines the phase estimate according to predetermined relations, and T1 is the time interval between two samples Zn and Zn+1, received consecutively.

Abstract:
The method of determination of the position of a mobile receiver using at least four satellites of which at least one first satellite transmits a first signal on one frequency, the broadcasting of the first signal being single-frequency, and of which at least one second satellite transmits second and third signals respectively on a first and a second frequency, the broadcasting of the signals being two-frequency, the receiver including means for reception of at least two frequencies, makes it possible to determine the position by a calculation of at least four pseudo-distances corresponding to the distances between each satellite and the receiver. The calculation of a pseudo-distance at the first frequency includes a step of estimation of the inter-frequency bias between the first and second frequencies.

The invention pertains to the monitoring of the integrity of position and speed information arising from a hybridization between an inertial reference system and a satellite-based positioning receiver. The invention relates more precisely to a navigation apparatus known in the art by the name INS/GNSS system (for “Inertial Navigation System” and “Global Navigation Satellite System”) hybridized in closed loop.
Abstract:
The general field of the invention is that of devices for receiving radio-navigation signals by satellite, said received signals being transmitted at a carrier frequency, said device including at least means for generating a local signal at a local frequency and a tracking device including a feedback loop called carrier loop for phase-locking the local frequency on the carrier frequency, said loop including a hardware portion and a software portion. The software portion performs the functions of discrimination of the phase of the correlated signal and filtering of said phase. In the various devices according to the invention, the software portion also includes correlation functions mainly dependent on the linear variation coefficients between the local phases φlocal delivered after each basic computation cycle. The proposed device makes it possible to increase the loop band and the dynamic stability without changing the pre-detection band and the workload of the software.
Abstract:
The invention relates to methods of processing signals subjected to interference. It consists, when this signal is formed of a first wideband channel and of a second narrowband channel modulating one and the same carrier in which these signals are cut off for the duration of the interference, in using a single phase loop and a single code loop to process these two channels simultaneously. It makes it easier to process signals in satellite based navigation systems of the GPS type when they are scrambled by the DME-type distance measuring system signals, as well as more generally making it possible to increase the robustness of the processing by joint processing of the bands broadcast to the users.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a satellite position pinpointing receiver intended to carry out combined processing of a first received radio signal and a second received radio signal which differ in frequency. The receiver comprises: a first correlator circuit and a second correlator circuit receiving the first and second received signals respectively, each correlator having a carrier correlation channel, a code correlation channel and a code correlation channel integrator. The receiver furthermore includes: a central-carrier phase discriminator; a device, the respective local carriers for the carrier correlation channels, a code phase discriminator; and a numerically controlled oscillator, for each correlation channel. Applications: satellite radio navigation by GPS, Galileo, Glonass, etc.

Abstract:
A satellite-based positioning system reception device comprises a function for detecting false lock-ons based on a linear combination of complex signals arising from correlation pathways between a signal received from a satellite and a prompt local code and a plurality of local codes shifted by determined delays with respect to the prompt local code. An advantage is that the function for detecting false lock-ons makes it possible to remedy the false lock-ons due to multi-path phenomena.
