Abstract: An electrochemical apparatus includes an electrode, the electrode includes a current collector and an active material layer located on one side or two sides of the current collector. The active material layer includes a first region and a second region, and in a thickness direction of the electrode, the first region is located between the current collector and the second region. The first region is from a current collector side to ⅔ of thickness of the active material layer, and the second region is from ⅔ of thickness of the active material layer to a surface of the electrode. Results of thermogravimetric analysis performed on the active material layer in an inert atmosphere at a temperature rise rate of 10° C./min show that a difference in the numbers of thermal weight loss peaks between the first region and the second region at 200° C. to 800° C. is ≥1.
