摘要: A fuser unit, which heat-fixes a developer image on a recording sheet, the fuser unit including: a cylindrical member having flexibility; a heat generation member; a nip member; a stay; a first frame; a second frame, and a wiring, wherein the first frame is provided with a pair of openings through which both axial end sides of the stay are exposed, wherein the second frame is configured to cover a central portion of the wiring, which is positioned at an inward side more than the pair of openings in the axial direction, wherein both axial sides of the second frame are provided with pressing protrusions that directly press the stay through the openings, and wherein both axial sides of the second frame are provided with third frames that cover a part of the wiring arranged at both axial end sides of the first frame.

摘要: A fuser unit, which heat-fixes a developer image transferred on a recording sheet, the fuser unit includes: a cylindrical member having flexibility; a heat generation member that is arranged at an inside of the cylindrical member and generates radiation heat; a nip member that slidingly contacts an inner periphery of the cylindrical member; a first reflection member that extends along the heat generation member to corresponds with at least a range of a heat generation part of the heat generation member; a second reflection member that is arranged, at an outside of the heat generation member, to at least one of end sides of the first reflection member in the longitudinal direction, and a backup member that forms a nip region by nipping the cylindrical member between the nip member and the backup member, wherein the second reflection member is separated from the first reflection member.

摘要: A fixing device includes: a flexible tubular member defining an internal space and extending in an axial direction; a first fixing member disposed at the internal space; and a second fixing member configured to nip the flexible tubular member in cooperation with the first fixing member. The flexible tubular member includes a metal base tube having an outer peripheral surface configured of a first area and a second area other than the first area in the axial direction. The first area has a 10-point average roughness of equal to or larger than 3 μm, and the second area has a 10-point average roughness of equal to or smaller than 3 μm.

摘要: A fixing device including: a flexible cylindrical member; a heater that is disposed inside the cylindrical member; a nip plate configured to be in contact with an inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical member and is configured to be heated by the heater; and a roller configured to pinch the cylindrical member between the roller and the nip plate, wherein, at least during fixing, the nip plate has a curved shape where a central portion thereof in an axial direction of the cylindrical member is more spaced from the roller than both end portions thereof in the axial direction, and wherein the roller is a concave roller where a diameter of a central portion thereof in the axial direction is smaller than diameters of both end portions thereof respectively.

摘要: A fixing device for thermally fixing a developing agent image to a sheet includes: a flexible tubular member having an inner peripheral surface and circularly moving in a moving direction while the developing agent image is thermally fixed; a heater; a nip member being in sliding contact with the tubular member; a backup member nipping the tubular member in cooperation with the nip member; a stay covering the heater and supporting the nip member; an electric component positioned opposite to the heater with respect to the stay; and a frame supporting the electric component. The frame includes: an isolating portion interposed between the tubular member and the electric component for isolating the electric component from the tubular member; and a guide portion guiding the inner peripheral surface of the tubular member while the flexible tubular member is moving in the moving direction.

摘要: A fuser unit includes: a cylindrical member; a heat generation member; a nip plate; a backup member that forms a nip portion; and a temperature detection member that detects a temperature of the nip plate. The nip plate has: a plate-shaped part that forms the nip portion; a lubricant restraint part that is formed on at least a part of a downstream side end of the plate-shaped part in a predetermined direction and that extends toward an inner side in a diametrical direction of the cylindrical member, and a detected part that extends from an end of the lubricant restraint part toward the predetermined direction. The detected part is formed to be shorter than the plate-shaped part in an axial direction of the cylindrical member, and both ends of the detected part in the axial direction are adjacent to a space.
