    摘要: A valve-seat insert for internal combustion engines comprises a double-layered, sintered alloy composed of a valve-seat layer on which a valve is seated, and a base layer integrated with the valve-seat layer and adapted to be seated in a cylinder head of an engine. The valve-seat layer is composed of a sintered alloy of a high heat resistance and a high wear resistance having a composition comprising, by weight, 4 to 8% Co, 0.6 to 1.6% Cr, 4 to 8% Mo, 1 to 3% Ni, 0.3 to 1.5% C, 0.2 to 0.6% Ca, and the balance of Fe and inevitable impurities, the additives, Co, Cr and Mo being present mainly in a form of a Co-Cr-Mo hard alloy and a hard Fe-Mo alloy dispersed in the Fe matrix. The base layer is composed of a sintered alloy of a higher heat resistance and a higher creep resistance than those of the valve-seat layer and having a composition comprising, by weight, 11 to 15% Cr, 0.4 to 2.0% Mo, 0.05 to 0.3% C, and the balance of Fe and inevitable impurities. At least the valve-seat layer of the double-layered, sintered alloy is being fusion-infiltrated with copper.

    摘要: A valve-seat insert for internal combustion engines comprises a double layered, sintered alloy composed of a valve-seat layer on which a valve is seated, and a base layer integrated with the valve-seat layer and adapted to be seated in a cylinder head of an engine.     摘要: A wear-resistant sintered alloy comprising an Cr-C-Fe base alloy in which 0.5 to 3% by weight of CaF.sub.2 and 5 to 20% by weight of hard particles having particle size of 44 to 150 .mu.m and a mean value of Vickers hardness of 800 to 2000 are dispersed. This wear-resistant sintered alloy is produced by a method comprising the steps of adding 1.2 to 2% by weight of carbon powder, 0.5 to 3% by weight of calcium fluoride powder, and 5 to 20% by weight of hard metal powder having the particle size of 44 to 150 .mu.m and a mean value of Vickers hardness of 800 to 2000, to an Fe-Cr-C base alloy powder containing 10 to 20% by weight of Cr and 0.8 to 1.5% by weight of C, mixing them, molding the resultant mixed powder into a desired shaped, and then sintering the compact in the temperature range of from 1180.degree. to 1260.degree. C. in a non-oxidizing atmosphere. The sintered alloy is useful as a material for parts required to have the heat resistance and wear resistance.

    摘要: A compressor vane of a sintered iron-base alloy composed of an iron-base matrix containing hard carbides uniformly dispersed therein, characterized in that the sintered iron-base alloy consists essentially of 0.7 to 1.5% by weight C, 3.0 to 5.0% by weight Cr, 0 to 10.0% by weight Mo, 1 to 20.0% by weight W, 0.5 to 6.0% by weight V, 0 to 15.0% by weight Co and the balance iron and inevitable impurities, and that the compressor vane is produced by molding under a pressure of 5 to 8 ton/cm.sup.2 and then sintering at a temperature of less than 1250.degree. C. so as to control particle size of the hard carbide to not more than 5 .mu.m, as well as to control the theoretical relative density to 80 to 90%, and to control the macro-hardness to 10 to 45 in the Rockwell C scale.
