    摘要： A silver halide color photographic material comprising a support having formed thereon at least one silver halide emulsion layer containing a pyrazoloazole series magenta coupler having at least one group expressed by the formula [S] below at a position other than the coupling active position.--(A).sub.n --L--B [S]wherein A represents a substituted or unsubstituted alkylene group, a substituted or unsubstituted cycloalkylene group, a substituted or unsubstituted arylene group, or a substituted or unsubstituted aralkylene group, in which in the main chain of said alkylene group, cycloalkylene group, arylene group, or aralkylene group, --O--, --S--, --CO--, --CO.sub.2 --, --OCO--, ##STR1## may be contained; L represents ##STR2## B represents a hydrogen atom or a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl or aryl group which does not contain therein --SO.sub.2 --; n is 0 or 1; and R and R' each represents a hydrogen atom, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group, or a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group. In the above, in the case that the pyrazoloazole series magenta coupler is a 1H-pyrazolo[5,1-c][1,2,4]triazole derivative, A does not represent an aralkylene group containing an arylene group directly connected to L. The silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material has improved coloring properties.

    摘要： Silver halide color photographic materials are described, which comprise at least one silver halide emulsion layer coated on a support and which are characterized by the incorporation of a pyrazoloazole type coupler of the following general formula (I) into the silver halide emulsion layer(s) or the adjacent layer(s) thereto: ##STR1## wherein Za and Zb each may represent ##STR2## R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 each may represent a hydrogen atom or a substituent; X represents a hydrogen atom or a group capable of being removed upon a coupling reaction with an oxidized form of an aromatic primary amine type developing agent; when Za.dbd.Zb is a carbon-carbon double bond, this may be a part of the aromatic ring in the formula: with the proviso that at least one of R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 is a group represented by general formulae (II) or (III): ##STR3## wherein R.sup.3 represents a hydrogen atom or a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group; R.sup.4 represents a hydrogen atom or a substituent; R.sup.5 represents a halogen atom, a substituted or unsubstituted alkoxy, aryloxy, amino, alkylthio or arylthio group; Ar represents an aryl group; Y represents an alkylene group or an arylene group; l' is an integer of 0 or 1; n is an integer of 0 or 1; and m is an integer of 1 to 3; and that when R.sup.1 represents an alkyl group or Y represents an alkylene group, the alkyl or alkylene group is a group of which the carbon atom directly bonded to the pyrazoloazole nucleus is a primary carbon.The pyrazoloazole type magenta couplers of general formula (I) may form azomethine dyes with improved color reproducibility and high light fastness. The present silver halide color photographic materials containing the coupler of general formula (I) have excellent colorability and excellent light fastness.

    摘要： A method of forming a color image comprising developing a silver halide photographic light-sensitive material with a developing solution containing an aromatic primary amine is disclosed. The developing is carried out in the presence of a coupler represented by the general formula (I) described below and/or a polymer coupler which is a polymer or copolymer having a repeating unit derived from a vinyl monomer containing a part represented by the general formula (I) described below in its molecule: ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.2, which may be the same or different, each represents a hydrogen atom or a substituent; and X represents a hydrogen atom or a group capable of being released upon coupling.The magenta color forming coupler represented by the general formula (I) or the polymer coupler containing the part represented by the general formula (I) has a good color forming property and provides a magenta color image having an excellent spectral absorption property free from subsidiary absorptions in the region around 430 nm and good fastness. A silver halide photographic light-sensitive material containing the magenta coupler is also disclosed.

    摘要： Pyrazolo[1,5-b][1,2,4]triazole derivatives are produced by ring closure of an amidoxime compound having a pyrazolyl group. The product can be used as a photographic magenta coupler as such. It is also useful as an intermediate for the magenta coupler, as a dye developer for diffusion transfer process, as an intermediate for the dye releasing agent, and as an intermediate for the photographic sensitizing dye.
