    摘要: The invention inter alia pertains to an apparatus for communication with a non-terrestrial network, NTN, the apparatus comprising means configured for:

    receiving, from the network, a handover configuration regarding a handover to be performed by the apparatus from a source cell to a target cell of the network;
    receiving, from the network, assistance information for the apparatus to connect to said target cell; determining, based on the assistance information, a type of the handover or receiving, from the network, an indication of a type of the handover;
    determining, based on the handover type, a threshold for a timing advance parameter;
    determining, based on the threshold and a value of the timing advance parameter, whether to perform a RACH-less handover towards the target cell.

    摘要: A UE receives configuration from a source cell for conditional handover for target cell(s). At least one of the target cell(s) also supports DAPS handover. The UE determines that either a RLF or HOF has occurred. The UE selects one of the target cell(s) for a handover, and performs a process for handover to the selected target cell. A UE receives individual handover commands and corresponding configuration for conditional handover for target cell(s) and an indication to use DAPS handover if possible in response to a handover. The UE determined condition(s) for handover to one of the target cell(s) have triggered, wherein the one target cell supports DAPS handover. The UE performs, based on the indication to use DAPS handover if possible in response to a handover, handover by the user equipment to the one target cell without releasing the source cell while accessing the one target cell.

    摘要: In a system, apparatus, method, and non-transitory computer readable medium for implementing fallback to conditional handover using a SSB reference signal, a UE device may be caused to, receive RRC reconfiguration information from a source RAN node, the RRC reconfiguration information including a SSB RS based CHO execution condition associated with at least one target cell controlled by a target RAN node, and a CSI-RS based CHO execution condition associated with the target cell(s), perform signal measurements of at least one SSB RS and at least one CSI-RS associated with the target cell(s), the at least one CSI-RS associated with a contention-free random access resource, and perform the CHO with the target cell(s) based on the signal measurement results of the at least one SSB RS, the at least one CSI-RS, the SSB based CHO execution condition, and the CSI-RS based CHO execution condition.

    摘要: Certain example embodiments provide systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer program products for a handover of a coordinated multi-point connection. For example, certain embodiment may transfer a first coordinated multi-point connection (e.g., a further enhanced multiple input multiple output (FeMIMO) connection) to a second coordinated multi-point connection where the network may instruct the UE to not perform at least one random access procedure. The first coordinated multi-point connection may be controlled by a first cell (the serving cell) where the UE is ready to receive from and transmit to a first set of cells that comprises the serving cell and one or more non-serving cells. After handover, the second coordinated multi-point connection may be controlled by a previous non-serving cell, and the UE may be ready to receive from and transmit to a second set of cells that comprises the previous non-serving cell.

    摘要: The method includes determining a first type of a target network device for a first handover, the first type indicating whether a network device is a master network device or a secondary network device; transmitting a first message indicating the first type of the target network device for the first handover, so that the terminal device is disconnected with the first type of a source network device; and in response to the terminal device being connected with the first type of the target network device, a second message indicating that the first handover is completed, and the terminal device being connected with a second type of a target network device and disconnected with the second type of a source network device in a second handover, the second type being different from the first type and indicating whether a network device is a master network device or a secondary network device.

    摘要: Described herein is a source network element configured for supporting a conditional mobility procedure in a dual connectivity (DC) setup involving at least one target network element and a user equipment, UE, served by a first primary cell (PCell) of the source network element, the target network element being associated with a second PCell and a plurality of primary secondary cells (PSCells) for supporting a conditional PSCell addition and change (CPAC) procedure, the source network element comprising: at least one processor; and at least one memory storing instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the source network element at least to: receive, from the target network element, respective CPAC condition configurations for the plurality of PSCells; obtain condition information indicative of at least one criterion for one or more beams associated with respective PSCells, wherein the at least one criterion is for facilitating determination of at least one PSCell that is associated with a beam fulfilling the criterion from the plurality of PSCells; and transmit the CPAC condition configurations and the condition information indicative of the criterion to the UE for evaluation of the respective CPAC condition of the at least one PSCell.
