    摘要: An apparatus for separating mixed materials of different flowability includes a frame structure, a hollow drum with a perforated peripheral surface driven in rotation and mounted on the structure, a continuous compression belt pressed against the peripheral surface from outside when wrapped around part of the drum circumference and driven in circulation, a product intake wedge formed by the belt and drum for conducting a product stream, into the apparatus between the drum and the belt in an inlet area of the product stream, and a support apparatus for the belt, with at least one support element which is arranged on the side of the belt opposite the drum, wherein the support element is configured as a roller track with at least partially spring-mounted rollers arranged successively in the conveying direction. The spring force of at least individual rollers is controllable. A corresponding method is also provided.
