摘要: Provided is a coordinate input device including: a coordinate input unit having a plurality of first detection electrodes and a plurality of second detection electrodes; an electrode drive circuit that applies a drive signal to one or more of the detection electrodes; a capacitance detection circuit that detects a capacitance of the first and/or second detection electrode; means for selecting one or more of the detection electrodes to which the drive signal is not applied from among the detection electrodes which are disposed in parallel to the detection electrodes to which the drive signal is applied, as a reference electrode; means for detecting a capacitance of the selected reference electrode; means for correcting a capacitance detection result of the capacitance detection circuit on the basis of the detected capacitance of the reference electrode; and an input coordinate computing circuit that calculates an input coordinate from the corrected capacitance detection result.

摘要: Provided is a touch-panel device capable of detecting a touched position with high accuracy even when a touched area extends off an electrode area. According to the present invention, the touched area is assumed to be, for example, a circular in shape. A width in an X direction (overlap width (X46)) and a width in a Y direction (overlap width (Y47)) of an area where the touched area in a circular shape and an electrode area (6) overlap each other may be determined based on sensor measured values. When the overlap width (X46) and the overlap width (Y47) are different from each other, it is judged that the touched area extends off the electrode area, and a position of a center of the touched area in the circular shape is calculated as the touched position.

摘要: A capacitance detection device of a capacitance system includes: a capacitance sensor electrode for detecting a capacitance; a power source for supplying charges to be charged in the capacitance sensor electrode; an electric charge storage capacitor in which an amount of charges to be charged therein changes according to the electric charges charged in the capacitance sensor electrode; and a switch for changing a reference potential of the electric charge storage capacitor. The reference potential of the electric charge storage capacitor is changed in a period of measuring the capacitance.

摘要: Provided is a touch-panel device capable of detecting a touched position with high accuracy even when a touched area extends off an electrode area. In one embodiment, the touched area is assumed to be, for example, circular in shape. A width in an X direction (overlap width) and a width in a Y direction (overlap width) of an overlap area where the touched area in a circular shape and an electrode area overlap each other is determined based on sensor measured values. When the overlap width and the overlap width are different from each other, it is judged that the touched area extends off the electrode area, and a position of a center of the touched area in the circular shape is calculated as the touched position.

摘要: In a touched position detection method for a touch panel for detecting a touched position, based on measured values by a plurality of sensors, presence of a touch is determined when a measured value by a sensor exceeds a touch threshold. As a touch threshold, a value which cannot be attained due to a mere noise but can due to presence of a touch is set. With respect to sensors located in the vicinity of a sensor showing a high measured value, a higher weighted value is applied to modify a measured value in a touched position calculation process than that to be applied to other sensors.
