摘要： A computer device includes a chassis, a card connector, and a cartridge. The card connector is attached to the chassis and is adapted to receive a card. The cartridge includes a guide plate, a card holder, and an actuator. The guide plate is removably engaged to the chassis. The card holder is connectable to the card and movable, relative to the guide plate, between an engaged position and a disengaged position. In the engaged position, the card is connected the card connector, and in the disengaged position, the card is disconnected from the card connector. The actuator is engaged with the guide plate, and the actuator linearly moves between a first position and a second position relative to the guide plate. The movement of the actuator from the first position to the second position causes the movement of the card holder from the disengaged position to the engaged position. The computer device is a server, and the cartridge is introduced into front face or a rear face of the server.

摘要： A computer device includes a chassis, a card connector, and a cartridge. The card connector is attached to the chassis and is adapted to receive a card. 摘要： A retention module for a heat dissipation assembly is disclosed. In a first embodiment, the retention module may include a frame having an external member and an internal member enclosed within the external member. Furthermore, the internal member is adaptable to seat a heat sink. Additionally, a lever is coupled to the external member, wherein the lever includes a cam. When the lever engages in a first position, the cam pushes the internal member forward to engage the heat sink to a surface. Through the use of the retention module described above, a retention module may be used as a simple method to load and lock heat sinks of varying sizes within a heat dissipation assembly.

摘要： A method of forming an assembly for tool-less backplane retention and insertion thereof into a housing including a housing mating device through which an installation path for an assembly is defined with a space in which a first part is positioned is provided. The method includes coupling a hub and a backplane body having opposing faces on which a second part and a backplane mating device are respectively disposed. The coupling includes inserting a backplane mating device protruding from one of the opposing faces of the backplane body through a hub mating device defined in the hub. The method further includes forcing a first stage of a two-stage mating device, which includes first and second elastically coupled stages and which extends from the hub, to elastically hook onto the backplane body during a near-completion of the insertion.

摘要： A system for fastening two parts at abutting surfaces by forming an in-situ fastener. A device selectively forms variable width through holes on two parts to be fastened, such that the width of each through hole is larger on the first surface than the opposing second surface. Opposing first and second platens selectively urge the second surfaces of the two parts into engagement while the through holes of the two parts are in fluid communication with each other. An injection system includes a flow passage through the first platen to the through hole on the part engaged by the first platen, and a pressurizing mechanism for urging the flowable and hardenable material through the flow passage and into the first and second through holes between the first and second platens under pressure. Pressure is maintained while the flowable and hardenable material hardens within the through holes.
