摘要： A typewriter is provided with an input and output apparatus having receiving and transmitting bars. The receiving bars are urged by springs and are latched to latches controlled by electromagnets. A series of decoding levers senses the receiving bars on receiving of input signals for setting one of said decoding levers corresponding to the combination of positions of the receiving bars. A lever rocked by a continuously rotating cam causes the decoding lever so set to be shifted for actuating the type-hammer associated thereto.
