Abstract: The purpose of the present invention is to provide a method for manufacturing a polymer having a desired strain. Provided is a method for manufacturing a polymer having a desired strain, said method comprising: a step for polymerizing one or more kinds of starting monomers by irradiating with ultraviolet rays having such an illuminance as to generate the desired strain; and, if required, a step for measuring the strain of the polymers thus formed and selecting a polymer having the desired strain. In one embodiment, provided is a method for determining the illuminance of ultraviolet rays for manufacturing a polymer having a desired strain.

Abstract: Provided are: a conductive film which exhibits excellent flexibility and elongation over a wide range of electrical resistance change ratios; a (meth)acrylic conductive material which is able to be used as a starting material for this conductive film and has excellent usability and formability; a method for producing this (meth)acrylic conductive material; and an actuator which uses this conductive film. A (meth)acrylic conductive material which contains a (meth)acrylic elastomer and a conductive agent, and which is characterized in that: the (meth)acrylic elastomer is obtained by polymerizing a monomer component containing a (meth)acrylic monomer represented by formula (I) (wherein R1 represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group; and R2 represents an alkyl group having 1-10 carbon atoms, which may have a hydroxyl group or a halogen atom, or an alkoxyalkyl group having 2-12 carbon atoms, which may have a hydroxyl group); and the (meth)acrylic elastomer has a weight average molecular weight of 1,200,000 to 10,000,000 and a molecular weight distribution (weight average molecular weight/number average molecular weight) of 1-6.
