    摘要： A dock leveler having a ramp positioned for engagement with the floor of a truck and freely swingable through a selected angle, both above and below a horizontal position, to accommodate various floor heights. To prevent the ramp from falling more than a small distance, in the event a load is positioned on the ramp and the truck moves away from the ramp, improved cross traffic legs are positioned for coaction with an abutment secured to the dock. There are at least two legs pivotally supported beneath and near the front edge of the ramp for engagement, one at a time, with said abutment whereby the front edge of the ramp is supported at two different levels. Both legs can be moved by manually operable means into nonsupporting positions so that said ramp can drop below said levels.

    摘要： A dock leveler having a swingable ramp positioned for engagement with a truck bed. The front end of the ramp is normally urged upwardly by a spring-urged lift arm mounted within a pit in the dock. The ramp is movable through a selected angle, both above and below a horizontal position, to accommodate different truck bed heights and to adjust to variations therein. A hold-down mechanism coacts between the frame and the lift arm for normally preventing the lift arm from urging the upward movement of said ramp while permitting downward movement thereof. The ramp is free of positive connection to the lift arm and can thus be swung upwardly, such as due to the normal raising of a truck bed when a load is removed therefrom.

    摘要： A dock seal assembly for an opening in a wall, said seal assembly having a resiliently flexible head seal supported by upright, parallel track means mounted upon the wall adjacent the sides of said opening near the upper end thereof. Spring-biased annular means is supported upon the wall for rotation about a horizontal axis near the upper end of said opening and is connected to the head seal by sheet means which covers said upper end of the opening when the head seal is lowered. The sheet means also serves to raise the head seal when it is released from an anchored, lowered position.

    摘要： A lock structure for an upwardly acting door of a truck van wherein a latch bolt and a manually engageable actuating member are pivotally mounted upon the door for movement around an axis substantially perpendicular to the plane of the door when it is in the closed position. The latch bolt has an elongated, arcuate hook portion adapted to extend below the lower edge of the door for engagement with a catch pin mounted in the truck bed. The latch bolt is urged by gravity to move more securely into the latched position, and first keeper means releasably holds the bolt in its latched position. Second keeper means releasably holds the bolt away from said latched position.
